“This, by far, was the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at. Chairs scraping on hard floors, every footstep on the open staircase, loud music, carrying voices, slamming doors. Just the worst. The room did not in the slightest look like the pictures. It was a stuffy, tiny room with no window to outside; rather, it opened to some kind of shaft that allowed no fresh air. I paid about US$90/night, which is a little higher than other local hotels. On the bright side, the restaurant was excellent and...

“Nice hotel with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a variety of options and was tasty. The room was clean and spacious with a large bed. Nice hot shower with strong water pressure. Great location, close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu and options to eat. Only troubles: there was construction going on right in front of the hotel, so if your room is facing that direction you will hear the noise during the day. Also the windows aren’t soundproof so you can hear everyone...

“The Hotel is very hard to find and it’s on top of mountain so you must go up a lot of steps up ! So inconvenient if you have luggage. They offer to pick you up so they show you the way but they never show up themselves! So you end up getting lost ! The bathroom had an issue with water drainage but they fixed it after few hours. The view and the room is not at all as good as what you see in the pictures. ”
