We enjoyed the apartment, very spacious for an in town flat with a great kitchen! 2 bathrooms a huge plus (we were a 2 couple group.) walking distance to a ton of restaurants and bars, and a grocery store not far at all walking distance, all very helpful. I had asked if there were any basics in the house as we are from the States, and Iâm learning itâs not typical here, as it is there, and was told ânothing in the kitchen but yes in bathroomâ which was actually the complete opposite :) so Iâd suggest go prepared. But Iâll emphasize, thatâs not a complaint! (First stop in the country we were in a remote fishing village that had nothing AT ALL in the house and not even a village convenience store :( which made things tough coming of a US flight.)
Itâs an older building, part of the charm, some stairs and creaks, but overall it was a great couple of days for me, my husband, my sister and brother in law. One suggestion - it is in town proper - earplugs if youâre sensitive - there is a lively music scene in Inverness, wasnât out of control but I found my earplugs handy. For the owner - a second set of keys would be very helpful! That was a bit of a challenge, 2 couples with different intrests, having to coordinate inâs & outs.
We very much enjoyed our stay and Inverness - and the jamaican restaurant was pretty irie :) Thank you!
