“Beautiful building and wildlife on the grounds is charming. Restaurant only open until 8pm and breakfast starts at 8am, so consider your timings when arriving/leaving. I had booked a room with two beds but it hadn’t been set up like that, you need to ask the hotel to do this before arriving as there is no additional staff to do it on the day so me and a friend had to share one bed. Clean bathroom and bedroom.”

Large screen TV in each room. Bar has large screen TV with Sky Sports. Food is good. Will stay there again if I go walking in the western Lake District.”
