Välkommen till Ischia 😍
Lugnt och skönt hotell för moget sällskap. Fräscht, rent och mycket bra skött. En kort promenad från stan ligger denna oas, som ger lugn och ro. En underbar utsikt både från restaurangen och balkongen. Ett hotell som jag alltid velat bo på, återvänder till och önskar att min omgivning också får uppleva. Rekommenderas starkt!

Charmigt hotell med bra service
Ett charmigt hotell med bra service. Rent och fräscht och ok continental frukost. Bra poolområde. Hotellet ligger inte där kartan visar, det går inte att promenera dit med resväskor.

Fantastic Choice in Ischia
The Hotel and customer service was outstanding. In particular, I wish to thank the Reception Desk who were so very helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, set in lush tropical gardens overlooking the Bay of Naples. With 2 lovely swimming pools and down the stairs a bit, access to a private platform and sun lounges right on the sea. Breakfast and the restaurant including service, were also excellent. Added bonus for us: Pet Friendly!

Endroit charmant avec une vue sur la mer magnifique ! Chambre propre et confortable mais la salle de bain mériterait d’être modernisée. Déjeuner snack parfait mais petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu mieux. Le personnel est dévoué et se plie en quatre pour que le séjour soit parfait

The gardens, location and direct access to the sea was what we loved. Food was average, staff (except front desk with lovely Roberta) also. We got a better room with a terrace and view (the first one was terrible- street level with a sea view you would never look at because of privacy issues). Worst of all, the taxis from the hotel completely overpriced- shuttle to continental therme and no shuttle back?? Every time you switch beach towel, you are charged!!! No one told us...Lack of umbrella and shade at sea level (unlike hotel next door).`

Dear Sir, we are very sorry you did not like much your rooms we gave you 2 nice rooms and we always say to a guest that the beach towels have a cost:There was no shuttle to Continental Terme included in your packet but we gave you anyway in the working hours of the driver. The price of the taxi is something beyond our control. Thank-you for stayng with us.

Struttura valida ma scomoda come ubicazione. La prima camera che mi è stata assegnata era totalmente inadeguata, la seconda assegnatami dopo le lamentele era mediamente confortevole. Colazione molto misera. Direttore dai modi poco educati ed inappropriati rispetto al ruolo ricoperto... sarebbe più adatto per un ostello.

My stay in Ischia began with a message that I would be staying at the Continental Ischia Terme, rather than the Continental Ischia. I had no issue with this, and detailed this is a response to the hotel. When I arrived, the hotel downgraded all amenities that had been previously agreed upon, and wanted to charge me for my stay. It was a simple miscommunication that was easily rectified with my persistent explanation, and verification through emails. The fact that the hotel management had not communicated infuriated me. Furthermore, the reluctance, badgering, and outright lying gave me a terrible impression. I asked simply that I be given the exact agreed upon, and paid for stay for a double room, with breakfast included. We had two single beds side by side. When I asked if we could make a better arrangement, I was first outright lied to, then given a dismissive answer. Management simply gave me an unprofessional impression on several occasions. Facilities, amenities, and other staff were excellent.

Hotel accueillant à 15 min du port, personnel agréable, petit déjeuner bon, piscine chauffée par une source thermale, et vue sur la mer magnifique. il y a un petit chemin pour aller jusqu'au port sans passer par la grande route. + vue, proximité avec la ville d'ischia, personnel, calme la nuit - sdb assez petite...rien d'autre

Pas à la hauteur
Très déçue, hôtel "cheap", petit déjeuner nul, de qualité qui laisse à désirer pour un 4 étoiles. Aucun produit local à déguster, fruits au sirop (alors même que les alentours sont gorgés de fruits mûris au soleil, d'olive, de tomates, de citron...), pas un seul fromage italien, de même que les charcuteries sous vide. Café à faire soi même avec une machine... bref, pas digne d'un hôtel avec 4 étoiles et avec ce prix là. Personne ne nous a aidés à ramener nos bagages (et étant donnée la pente, il y avait besoin d'aide!), le nettoyage est sommaire. Aucun savon, shampoing de bonne qualité, dommage pour une île "thermale". pas de prêt de serviettes pour la piscine et la plage. Loin d'un service de standing.

L'hotel è situato in zona centrale dove è facile raggiungere alcune aree centrali dell'isola e diverse spiagge molto belle. Strutturalmente è un luogo incantevole,le aree comuni sono ben tenute ed è piacevole utilizzarle e godere della vista panoramica. Tuttavia, le condizioni della stanza lasciavano assolutamente a desiderare: usurata e non pulitissima. Inoltre, non siamo riusciti in alcun modo a connetterci alla rete Wi-Fi che risultava sistematicamente problematica. Il personale è molto cortese. Il metre non è proprio un "simpaticone".

Vacanza breve ma piacevole
Abbiamo accettato il servizio transfert dalla Stazione centrale di Napoli all'hotel (115€). Tutto bene se si esclude il temporaneo smarrimento al molo Beverello dei bagagli, poi ritrovati ( da me) dopo 15' di affannosa ricerca . Albergo decisamente bello ed in posizione panoramica. Pazienza se questo comportava per noi, ogni volta che scendevamo in paese per la cena, una passeggiata A-R di 15' in una stradina di montagna... Ma la sera avevamo le lucciole! Ottima la colazione in terrazza vista mare! Confortevoli le stanze e le piscine termali.

Sarò molto schematico: 1. Posizione: dal porto dista circa 15/20 minuti a piedi (sono in salita). Una volta arrivati però, se sfortunatamente siete a piedi, non pensate di essere arrivati (eh eh); dovrete iniziare a scendere scale e discese per qualche altro minuto (si, è così). Quindi consiglio forse un taxi (che si prende 20€ dal porto). 2. Stanza: grande, ma assolutamente anonima, spoglia, senso del gusto n/a (a mio avviso, poi per carità) e senza wi-fi. E fino a lì sono valutazioni anche soggettive... Ma che una stanza sia VISTOSAMENTE SPORCA, quello no. Sotto al letto l'aspirapolvere non viene passata dalla caduta del muro di Berlino, l'intonaco sotto la TV con evidenti tracce a terra, la vasca da bagno con della polvere (e il porta asciugamani che si stacca..). Che poi prenoti una stanza matrimoniale e ti danno due letti singoli con neanche le lenzuola matrimoniali no comment (che poi quando le chiediamo e le otteniamo sono bucate idem).. Mettiamoci anche due vistosi ragni sul muro sopra il letto, una famiglia (numerosa) di formiche vicino la finestra et voilà. Ultima cavolata, neanche troppo, l'acqua calda dal lavandino usciva solo se contemporaneamente veniva aperto il bidet... La non particolare generosità dei saponi in bagno una minuzia. Non capisco quale sia il sistema per l'attribuzione delle stelle, ogni 5/10 anni max andrebbe rivisto. Questo, a mio avviso, era max un 2. Unico pro la vista sul mare. Per il resto a più di 100€. A voi la scelta.

Hotel with fantastic views
Stayed from 19- 26 Sept. 2014. We are three matured ladies sharing a " comfort room" which consisted of two floors close to the reception area. It consisted of a lounge, settee converted into 2 single beds, balcony with views over grassy area,lower pool and fabulous views of the bay. The first floor had a double bed with windows over looking the same view. The upper bigger pool is a little walk up some steps . There were plenty of sun lounges all over the grounds, the water in the upper pool is cooler and we had it to ourselves the few times we were using it. Walk into town is through a short cut through a private locked gate, steep in places which leads down into the harbour ( not do able with suit cases). Bus stop outside hotel, buses are always crowded with locals and tourist. Only ate twice in the evening at the hotel, disappointing food and treated discourteously by the head waiter. The bar and reception staff were very helpful and polite. On the whole a wonderful and satisfactory stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay at Continental Mare. The location was disappointing...it was about a 15 minute walk into town along a footpath, which was fine during the day, but we did not feel safe walking at night. We were also disappointed with the staff. They grudgingly answered our questions but always acted like we were bothering them. In addition, every little thing was an extra charge. If you wanted a towel for the pool it would cost 2 euros plus an additional 2 every time you wanted to exchange it for a clean one. Overall, it was reasonably comfortable, but had no charm, a poor location, and the staff made us feel completely unwelcome. You can definitely find something better!

Siamo appena rientrati da Ischia un posto fantastico..una bellissima isola che consiglio di visitare!Abbiamo scelto l'Hotel Continental Mare e ci siamo trovati benissimo..ubicazione perfetta (a 10 min dal Porto d'Ischia) personale cortese, posto molto tranquillo!!Lo consiglio a coppie giovani e famiglie!!Esperienza da ripetere!!!

Ottimo hotel ben disposto con tutti i confort. Per chi cerca una vacanza rilassante e lontano dai rumori dell'isola ma comunque a contatto con il mare sicuramente il continental mare è il migliore. Sono felice di averlo scelto e ci ritornerei volentieri.

Super Lage und Traumhafte Aussicht
Die Hotelanlage ist an einem Hang auf mehrenen Terassen in eine schöne gepflegte Gartenanlage eingefügt. Dadurch ergibt sich eine traumhafte Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse ohne Meerblick, dafür den Garten vor der Tür. An den beiden Pools waren immer genügend Liegen frei und der Aufenthalt dort war sehr ruhig. Das Servicepersonal war überaus freundlich und Anliegen/Wünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Es gibt einen kleinen Strand - über Treppen zu erreichen - der jedoch eher etwas für Individualisten ist. Ischia Porto ist über einen ruhigen (teilweise steilen) Weg in ca. 20 Gehminuten erreichbar. In der Dunkelheit ist - für ein kurzes Wegstück - eine Taschenlampe hilfreich, aber es geht auch ohne. Die Hotelgäste waren vorwiegend Italiener (wir waren die einzigen Deutschen) - aber dafür sind wir uns auch wie in Italien vorgekommen. Aufgrund der Lage ist das Hotel für Familien mit Kindern weniger geeignet.
