“Very friendly to us as foreigners. Host comminicated well in English. Beautifully kept property. We found our first experience with futon beds very comfortable and the full bath in our room (paid extra for because I have tattoos and didnt wish to insult anyone in the main bath) was very comfortable. In summer, it is very warm in the main building, but individual rooms have aircon, which was a great relief in the "totemo atsuii" weather.
Would very much stay again and try the breakfasts next...
“If you want to live an authentic Japanese experience, this is the best place for it. It is well located and comfortable with two floors. It is the house of a samouraï built 150 years ago but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioned in every room, TV, WiFi, fonctional kitchen and even a washer/drier. “Very comfortable stay, quiet and most beautiful area with lots to walk to from coffee, restaurants and shops in the geisha area with stunning scenery. Great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed and Mitsukawa provided everything and anything that might have been missing like ice, iron. ”

The instructions were clear, the staff helpful and friendly. It was on a quiet street and still close enough to the main sites of Kanazawa that you could walk to anything in about 20 minutes, or take the bus on the bus loop from the nearby stop. Would definitely stay here again.”
“This was a lovely property overall, with a great layout for a family group.
Our only surprise was the laundry (in our unit at least), the washer was not a combo unit and you have to hang the clothing in the shower and use venting system to dry your clothes.
It was a surprise since there was no literature or instructions and it was our first time encountering this system. The desk agent did explain it the next day when we inquired, but it did take a long time for our stuff to dry. ”
“Neat hotel that offered a traditional style with modern amenities and check in process. The space was great and offered a good separation for our son to have his own bed. The bath was so nice and welcome after a day of walking and sight seeing. The playground in the neighborhood was perfect and we enjoyed dining close by. The walkable distance to the station was great and check in worked fine at the other hotel, they held our bags as we were early. Never figured out the wifi but didn't ask...
