“Utmärkt läge, mycket hjälpsam personal som följde med i bilen och visade hur vi skulle hitta hotellets p-plats för högra bilar ( nära men klurig att hitta). Fin och vällagad japansk frukost. Bra hotell för det låga pris vi betalade. ”

“Dougoya is a bit dwarfed under huge hotel complexes, but they have really done the best of the situation, with an atmospheric entry and small Japanese gardens that the rooms look out on. We had a large room on the first floor with plenty of space. The staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English and made their best to make us feel comfortable. They offered us private use of the ryokan's onsen on no less than two occations during our three night stay. We used it once and really appreciated...

“MAP was wrong, wrong, wrong! I used Safari It looks like hotel is RIGHT across the street from Dogo Onsen. This is the only reason I chose this hotel. It is not there, but 3-400 meters away. Hotel itself was great. Staff were very nice.”

“It's in the middle of the nightlife district but it's not bad during the day either, lots of convenience stores with ATM's are close. If you didnt include breakfast in your original booking it's 1300 yen, you pay at the front desk and get a ticket. Both bus and Tram stations are close too, 10-15 minutes to Matsuyamashi station which has a huge shop district with restaurants/karaoke/Izakayas & shops.
