“Unfortunatley it rained a lot during my stay at red frog which meant a lot of time spent at the hostel. Staff was very stand offish, didn’t seem to like their job at all. Always felt bad for asking about something as if I was disturbing. All in all too hot, ac off most of the time, kitchen was a m e s s and had a moldy smell to it. “Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...

“Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Daniel et Brian. Très bien placé, au calme, et facilement accessible en bateau. Daniel nous a organisé les tours à partir du lodge, très appréciable. De la piscine nous avons pu admirer un paresseux…quel souvenir ! Cerise sur le gâteau, Daniel est un excellent chef, sa cuisine est remarquable! Et que dire du petit déjeuner et des cocktails de Brian…”

What bothered us the most, unfortunately, was that the hotel did not live up to the rules regarding beach chairs. According to the staff, beach chairs were supposed to be reserved for hotel guests, this was absolutely not the case. Every day after lunch, half of the beach chairs were taken by other people, in addition to this, ordinary chairs from the restaurant were moved out onto the beach. It felt a bit like a hostel with lots of day guests, completely unacceptable. One of the days I complained and asked who was responsible for the policy to be followed, unfortunately I got a vague answer that the person was somewhere. The owner of this hotel needs to address this, I would like an answer."
