“Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. We were thrilled to be able to feed the fish through the opening in the living room floor of the bungalow.
The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Rashi, JJ and Francesca made us feel right at home.
We had some of the best animal sightings at the reserve, including a mother sloth, travelling the treetops with its twins...
“My review should be seen in relation to the fact that it is an expensive hotel.
The room and the staff were very good.
The food was okay.
What bothered us the most, unfortunately, was that the hotel did not live up to the rules regarding beach chairs.
According to the staff, beach chairs were supposed to be reserved for hotel guests, this was absolutely not the case.
Every day after lunch, half of the beach chairs were taken by other people, in addition to this, ordinary chairs from...

“Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...
“Travelling as a family of 4, we got a tiny room with barely any space and NO space for our clothes so we lived in our backpacks.
1st breakfast the owner tried to barter away the included breakfast although I could show proof. Considering we were maybe half of the islands total tourist population at the time one might’ve thought to appreciate us.

“Jättebra hotell/hostel. Trevlig stämning bland gäster, sociala aktiviteter och fantastisk personal. Jag bodde i ett privat rum, bungalows som ger lite mer privat känsla. Den enda anledningen till att jag gav en fyra när det kommer till renlighet var för att det var lite fläckar på handdukar och lakan, men allt är rent, men man kanske behöver dubbelkolla att allt är fläckfritt innan man placerar dem i rummet.
