“"Disappointing Stay at Tropical Suites"
Unfortunately, our experience at Tropical Suites in Colón Island, Bocas del Toro, was not a good one. From the moment we arrived, we noticed that the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, which immediately affected our first impression.
Once we entered our room, things did not improve. The room was visibly unclean, with a significant amount of dust around the bedboard and long hairs in the bathroom and even on the towels. The hairdryer was broken...
“The staff is very helpful and attentive, the hotel is beautiful, sparkling clean and the garden is lush. I need to mention that entry with a vehicle can be be difficult because the gate can be opened only from the reception and if no one is available, there is just no way to open it. And it is a longish walk from the gate to the hotel, which we had to do under pouring rain to get to our taxi outside. Other than that, the stay was amazing and even better than expected for the price. Honestly...
“Bra läge, otroligt bekvämt med närheten till flygplatsen. Man blir inte störd av flygen som landar och startar. Bocas Town är tillräckligt litet för att ha allt inom gångavstånd. Mycket vänliga och tillmötesgående ägare. Det finns husdjur på plats (en liten hund och ett par katter). Rymligt rum med AC och TV. Lagom bekväm säng. Extra kul att det spelas non-stop 80/90-tals musik i receptionen. 😀”
“En av de vackraste platserna man kan tänka sig. Helt magiskt att ha egen brygga utanför dörren med koraller och fiskar. Ssänorkel och kajak finns att låna. Hammock och solstol ingår. Ljuvligt för den som vill varva ner och koppla ifrån.
Anläggningen ligger isolerat från allt annat, placerat långt ute på en egen brygga. Räkna inte med promenader; endast åtkomst från vattnet. Erbjuder gratis båttransfer till/från Bocas Town (20 min) på vissa fasta tider.
