“The location was excellent and the restaurant was really great. However the highlight of this hotel was the staff. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.”

“Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. We were thrilled to be able to feed the fish through the opening in the living room floor of the bungalow. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Rashi, JJ and Francesca made us feel right at home. We had some of the best animal sightings at the reserve, including a mother sloth, travelling the treetops with its twins...

“The property was going through a remodel/construction project. The restaurant/bar area was nice. The pool wasn't as big as expected based on the pictures; more than two couples in the pool felt crowded. Outside of that, the room was nice. The view was perfect. The staff was amazing.”

“We loved it! Allan was really helpful and nice! The place is really clean and you feel at home all the time. They also offered lots of extras that we loved. Breakfast is freshly made every morning. We also loved the company of Buster, Lev and Max, best dogs ever! We 100% recommend it.”
