“Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. “We had the absolute best time staying at this beach cabana. The bed was super cozy, the outdoor kitchen was awesome (make sure to bring all the food/beverages you need), the beach has the most beautiful clear water and loads of star fish and other fish and we were the ONLY people there and had the entire beach to ourselves, the locals were kind when passing and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating and had quick response to questions. “Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. Dinner was average and breakfast as well. Missed "taste/flavour". The tour on the farm was nice but in the end it is all planted there and a little of everything...

What bothered us the most, unfortunately, was that the hotel did not live up to the rules regarding beach chairs. According to the staff, beach chairs were supposed to be reserved for hotel guests, this was absolutely not the case.
