“The staff was so sweet and accommodating. The property was pristine along with the pool. Food was amazing every meal. Wildlife is very active (monkeys, birds, geckos, iguanas, scarlet macaws, butterfly’s, frogs etc). I always felt safe on the property and would recommend the largest suit to anyone who wants more privacy and quiet since the other rooms you can hear everything within the hotel. “We stayed 5 nights at Hotel Margarita. We had them (Alberto) book our tours and found that if you pay cash (dollars or colones) you save some money on your tours. “I was at the last cabana on the ridge. It had a kitchen in an attached room. It was great to bring back leftovers, make coffee and enjoy local fruit. There were 2 beds, a king and queen. The shower was walk in and everything worked well and was very clean. I ate at the table on the patio, enjoyed the hammock, and entertained by a multitude of birds, ant eater and ajouti. I would definitely come back.”

“Basic hotel so not for the luxury travelers but bed was comfy and shower good. Has a patio where I could sit and watch birds in the trees. “Loved this hotel. Excellent food and service. The view were fabulous, we saw toucans, macaws and humming birds from our terrace. We chose to travel from Sierpe and the boat ride to the hotel was very exciting! Would definitely stay again and hope to come back soon!”
