Inte det finaste å fräschaste. Men riktigt nice lägga för en eller två nätter. Å fantastiskt trevlig herre i receptionen. Käka även på wahoo.

Lookout Resort

Really a peace of paradise. Very quite and calm. Sitting alone eating breakfast in the morning by the sea was fantastic. Fantastic snorkling for the children 20 m from the hotel door.

I had a wonderful stay at Lookout Lodge. The room could be updated but things were good. The staff was so helpful in telling us about things to do.

Overpriced and under values

The manager showed up nearly 45 minutes late to open the office and was not considerate for being late. The room was outdated with mismatched features and an overall unfinished looked. For example, there was not any floor or wall trim in the bathroom and tiles were different and unmatched, some without grout and with a thrown together look. If I did not need to stay in the immediate area and other availability, I would have moved to a different hotel. For the price, one should look for other options in the area.

Rundown but Great Location

I have stayed here before, the views and location are amazing. The Staff is exceptional, but the rooms are in dire need of repair and upgrade. I was not thrilled to find out upon check in that the bulk of the property had been reserved for a Private Party on the day of my arrival and would be closed. The area in front of my "ocean view" was utilized as a staging area for set up of the party, Not Happy about that one! I would have booked elsewhere had I known. I recommend it mainly because of it's proximity to an awesome restaurant, MM 88, and the spectacular sunsets! Sadly, I think I'll be checking other locations in the future.

Beware:There's a fee if you lock your bedroom door

I usually try to highlight pros and cons of every place we stay. However, this is the first time we are asked to pay to have someone unlock our bedroom door because the hotel does not have a key to the bedroom. No, this is not a joke, if you by mistake lock your bedroom you will need to pay $120.00 dollars to have your door unlocked. I read other reviews about broken ACs and having to pay to fix the AC and I didn't believe it until we had to pay $120 dollars to unlock our bedroom door. For the remainder of our stay we did not use the TV, touched the AC, blinds, windows or anything else that may break to avoid getting charged for it. This place is not really a resort as their name entails. The property is pretty small similar to a roadside motel, the rooms are not very clean, there is no beach area and the master bedroom had either bed bugs or a spider problem because we would wake up with bites all over our body, but the children in the other room were OK. The rooms are decent, but not very clean. The unit is aging and lacks upkeep as the bath tub had old paint and was moldy. The pros are that the unit had a kitchen, dishes and silverware which helped us save money to make up for the $120.00 fee that we paid to have our door unlocked. Overall, if you want to support a local business this is not the place. Pay attention to the reviews as we did not and our experience was not pleasant.

Great stop in the Keys

Nice place to break up the long drive to Key West from Central Florida. Great waterfront location. Room is showing its age, and could use some remodeling and modernization. Great free coffee in room. Kayaks available, right on the water. Have coffee or breakfast on the little beach.

Fishing Haven

Very adequate for our stay to fish Islamorada and relax. Clean and friendly with access to good food, island shopping, peaceful surroundings and restful. Return a good bet.

Great Resort! Great Price!

The staff was friendly and informative. Told me what restaurants to eat at that were great. There's a restaurant next door that you'll get 10% off if you're staying at The Last Resort. The resort faces West. You get an awesome view of the Sunset. Also, Don the manager save me time and money and told me of a better fishing charter to use instead of the one I was going to travel to in Marathon. Will go back and stay there again! Thanks for the Great Stay Don!

Nice small oceanfront hotel older but updated.

This was a good hotel for a weekend wedding visit. The staff is very attentive and keeps the facility and grounds well maintained. Parking is free and easy. Beachfront terrace is well equiped with adequate tables, lounge chairs, and gas bar-b-que grill.

Size matters

We enjoy a smaller resort experience. Their beach area with bbq grills and the screened bay front Florida room attached to our unit is where we spent our time so the updating needed in the rooms can be overlooked. Mile Marker 88 Club next door is a plus and little Jamison makes an adorable addition to staff. It's a nice place for the $....Also, the kitchens need more dishes, utensils ect.

Comfortable enough.

First thing we realized when we got there was the air conditioning was broken. (It was 85 degrees outside). The man at the front desk bent over backwards to get it fixed, and eventually it did get fixed. But, it was too late to shower and change to go out for our first night's dinner. He made up for it by refunding our first night's stay, which I thought was extremely generous and showed great customer service. This is an older resort, and you can tell there have been upgrades, but our overall experience was very positive. It was a bit noisy during our stay, but it was to be expected during one of the busiest times of the year. I'd go back again.

Old, but Pet Friendly and Nice Beaches

Weekend get away. Brought two dogs. No real walking area for the dogs: was told to use grass embankment area right off Route 1. The hotel is very old and they are in the process of renovating, but even that is poor. We killed a roach in the bathroom, fortunately only once this happened. The "Suite" is only a tiny room with a good size refrigerator right next to the bed. The room had a "garden view" - don't be fooled. It's a small window looking out to bushes and a parking lot. The only good thing about this place is the view, beach next door at Mile Marker 88 restaurant and the location near restaurants. Rooms are quiet, but tiny. There is a dog park a mile away at the Islamorada Visitor center Park. That is a very nice little park area for kids and pets.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful view

staff friendly. Reminded places to go with the dog. Very pet friendly. Rooms felt like home. Beautiful view from our room all day. But sunset was awesome. Would go back.
