Inside, the open-concept living area features a warm fireplace and large windows that bring the beauty of the surroundings right into the cabin. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, whether you're cooking up a hearty breakfast before a day of exploration or enjoying a quiet dinner after an exciting day in nature. The two cozy bedrooms offer a restful escape, while the compact but well-appointed bathroom ensures comfort throughout your stay.

The two closest major airports are Bozeman, MT and Idaho Falls, Idaho. There is also a small West Yellowstone Airport.

*Roads are maintained but the wind and snow in the fall, winter and Spring can be unpredictable. We HIGHLY recommend an AWD vehicle in the winter and shoulder months.

Note: Some homes in this area may experience a slight discoloration in the water due to naturally high iron content—this is normal for the region. This home is equipped with a water filtration system, including a softener, a sediment filter, a UV light, and a carbon filter. Some guests choose to use bottled water for drinking during their stay in Island Park, which is totally fine and a common preference.

Great little getaway

Cozy little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The gas fireplace and hot tub were great for relaxing after spending the days xc skiing, and we enjoyed dark starry skies despite the lights from the gas station. The snowy driveway was bit rough and if it had snowed a lot or melted a bit, we might have had trouble getting in and out even with awd. All in all we had a really nice time here and would definitely recommend.
