“I found this hotel to be an absolute supreme place, it is very cosy and has some incredible views. The service was also really great, always kind, as well as supportive in recommendations on where to go. Some services are closed or to overall people at the hotel, specifically the spa part, and should be prepared to spend a few pounds, though that point was pretty clear in their description. “Hotellet ligger normalt utanför vår prisklass, men vi hade samlat ihop till en "gratisnatt" och ville dessutom göra resan lite speciell så vi unnade oss en natt här. Vi blev väldigt väl och personligen mottagna när vi anlände och rummet (eller snarare rummen) var som tagna ur en Hollywoodfilm. Middagen var bland den bästa vi ätit och servicen under middagen fantastisk. Salongerna var många och rymliga så det var aldrig något trängsel. “Beautiful place in a great western town. Loved Oban. The service was excellent- only complaint really was the bed - narrow for two and not particularly comfortable. Not nice waking with a sore back. ”

“A really lovely hotel in a fantastic lakeside location & the staff were all really helpful & friendly. King size bed, really comfortable with lovely pillows. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, would definitely stay here again.”

“The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna.”

“Property fine. Could have done with more serving dishes and cooking utensils. Sad that the pool and sauna were not open and we were not informed of that”

"I am completely satisfied with my stay there. Many thanks to the staff who were very helpful when I did not get my suitcase from the flight for several days. Special thanks to the nice girl from Wales. The food was good and a nice pub to sit and have a beer. Also a nice local population to talk to in the pub. Thanks, from a satisfied Swede. "
