Gillade: Renlighet

Pros: excellent space, great distance to the beach, very spacious. Cons: the pool needs vacuumed at least once a day due to the debris from all the trees, the place is dated. Also the beach access closest to the house was closed. So there's that. And the location in wild dunes is quite far from the center. You can rent a golf cart but you can't really drive it to the beach, so really there's no point. The oven took 40 minutes to preheat. And finally, there is a musty smell all throughout the house. The ac masks it a little but it's quite overpowering.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was professional. Upon arrival of our house from the outside it looked great. Although the front steps were quite rotted and needed a lot of work. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc, as well as a mouse!! Also the dishwasher was broken as well as the refrigerator was coming off its hinges and felt like the door was going to fall off every time you opened it AND there was a bulb missing from inside as well as the cover to the light bulbs inside!! Carpets were stained throughout the house as well as the walls and also needed to be replaced and painted. Sleeping arrangements were fine but again beds were very old and uncomfortable as were pillows were old and stained as well. The house itself is a nice layout but was not well maintained NOR cleaned. The cleaning Staff should definitely pay more attention to detail and do a massive cleaning after each guests come and go. The baseboards had mold and mildew on them throughout the house especially in the kitchen and bathrooms and seemed as if they have never been cleaned and seemed very unsanitary. ALSO the Bannister going upstairs was being held up by rope and was tied to the top of the stairs, so not very safe! There were also not enough towels left for guests and only one roll of toilet paper was left in each bathroom which seems insufficient for a house that sleeps 8. Overall we as a family had a great time and the house from the outside looked great but once you climbed the molded front steps and entered the house is was quite a disappointment for sure.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property needs updated. Carpets stained. Pool and porch dirty when arrived but it was cleaned after calling twice. Grill didn't work( new one bought @ end of week after we complained) porch& pool need power washed. Good location.
