  • Ett hus med fantastisk havsutsikt. Detta underbara strandhus med 6 sovrum – där det sjätte sovrummet nyligen har tillkommit i gästsviten i bakgården – är ritat av den berömde arkitekten Michael Spivey och känns som att ha en privat semesteranläggning på Palm Boulevard. Öppen planlösning, två våningar med terrasser som sträcker sig runt hela huset, ett toppmodernt gourmetkök, hiss, en avskild pool- och spa-oas i bakgården, bocciabana, cabana och en separat pool – allt du kan önska dig i ett perfekt strandhus.

    Detta hus med 6 sovrum och 5,5 badrum (varav 1 sovrum och 1 badrum ligger i gästsviten i bakgården) har en privat pool (som kan värmas upp vid milda temperaturer mot en avgift). Huset erbjuder bekvämligheter som flera verandor, gasgrill, trådlöst internet och mycket mer. Sängplatserna består av tre sovrum med king size-sängar, ett sovrum med två queen size-sängar och Full XL-våningssängar ovanför samt ett sovrum med två Twin XL-sängar.

    På bottenvåningen finns de flesta sovrummen. När man kommer in i huset finns ett sovrum till vänster med eget badrum och egen veranda, medan det till höger finns en mastersvit på bottenvåningen som delar tillgång till en veranda. Två sovrum delar ett badrum, och ett av sovrummen delar tillgång till en veranda med master-sviten på första våningen.

    De huvudsakliga sällskapsutrymmena ligger på andra våningen. Det finns två verandor i anslutning till vardagsrummet, som öppnar sig mot matsalen med utgång till altanen. Matsalen är öppen mot köket, där det finns ytterligare sittplatser vid baren. Här finns även en gästtoalett. Huvudsoverrummet ligger också på denna våning. Huvudsoverrummet har en egen veranda och ett eget badrum med separat badkar och dusch.

    Poolen och spabadet kan värmas upp mot en extra avgift på 1 000 USD/vecka (måste meddelas två veckor i förväg). Alternativt kan endast spabadet värmas upp mot en avgift på 500 USD/vecka (måste meddelas två veckor i förväg). (Priserna kan inte proportioneras för kortare vistelser under lågsäsong på grund av lägre vattentemperaturer och behovet av att fylla på gastankarna)

    *Huset är utrustat med en huvudkabelbox för TV:n i vardagsrummet. I övriga sovrum, cabana och gästsviten finns Smart-TV:ar med en Xfinity-app (istället för kabelbox) på alla, vilket ger tillgång till standardutbudet av kabel-TV inklusive flera sportkanaler. Det finns även appar på alla TV:ar där du kan logga in på dina egna personliga streamingkonton för att få tillgång till mer innehåll. *

    Bostäderna är försedda med små ”startpaket” som innehåller: toalettpapper, soppåsar, pappershanddukar, tvål, diskmedel och diskmaskinstabletter.

Great house with even better views!

The house was EXACTLY as pictured - the amenities were superb and our group loved being such a close walk to the beach. If we had any questions the response time was extremely fast as well - would definitely return to IOP!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the layout was great, and having the guest house was perfect for us, since my son has a pretty fussy baby. The house definitely is looking a little tired, ie, the carpets and chair covers need replacing, but with two babies under 2, it was nice to not have to worry about getting anything dirty. Some other issues-the pool definitely needs to be resurfaced- we had lots of scraped feet and toes. Also, all the pool floats are ripped or punctured, and were just left in a pile. Also, the heat for our hot tub was not turned on until Monday afternoon, and our oven did not work consistently. We finally gave up on it and just used the grill. We loved the location-being right across the street from the walkway to the beach and being able to see the water from the living room window was perfect!

Perfect for a group getaway

We had a great time in this rental. Plenty of space for our group and the property was beautiful with an ocean view. Communication was great and although our hot tub heater didn’t work, they sent a maintenance man immediately and then refunded us for the price to heat it. Over all it was a perfect weekend thanks to the house and we would definitely return.

Great Stay for Friend Group Getaway!

We had an excellent stay at the property! It was exactly as it looked in the photos, and it was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach, but right inside a lovely neighborhood, with a shopping center in walking distance. It was a 25 minute ride into Charleston. Check-in and check-out process was easy, and we had great communication regarding having our hot tub heated. We comfortably fit a group of 11. Would definitely stay here again!

Love those bed swings for reading! One issue: dishwasher needs replacing.

Family Get Together

Good size house across the street from the beach. Looks beautiful, unfortunately our stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. A couple of dirty towels on the floor when we first entered, but at first didn't think much of it. Primary reason we chose the house was for the pool and hot tub. The pool was filthy and in no shape for anyone to swim in it. It was finally cleaned after numerous calls but not handled well. We were not able to use the pool for half our stay. The management company stated there were known issues with the pool company. A bit frustrating to hear they knew and did not nothing prior to our check-in. Once the pool was cleaned the hot tub ran into issues and that took another day. We hoped to be hanging by the pool everyday, but only had one day to do so.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying in this house. It is beautiful. Island realty provided great service. The view of the ocean is magnificent, although the house being built across the street will change that soon. The layout it wonderful for all of us to have space when we need it and large gathering areas to spend time together. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. Due to Covid-19 we stayed in and cooked at home. It was a great escape. In my opinion, there are only two things that would make this place better. The first would be to have a net to clean the pool as there were many leaves and bugs in it each day. It was full of grass on the day the lawn was cut. The other is to have different dinning room chairs. The chairs are stained and sink low when we sat on them.

Wonderful property, not well outfitted

This is an extremely comfortable beach house for a group of adults. We thoroughly enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and having the sunny pool area in the afternoons. The Island Realty management team was also great to work with. We were disappointed that the house was not well appointed with many of the things one would expect in a higher-end beachfront rental property. There are no beach towels, no beach chairs, very limited cleaning supplies, limited bath towels, limited / low-quality soap and shampoo, no cooking oils and limited spices etc. We flew in from out of state so bringing many of these items was not something we had thought to do. There is also not a first aid kit. Additionally, there is a Sonos system which we eventually got to work but not in all rooms. Instructions would have been helpful. I would encourage the owner to be more thoughtful in providing the essentials and nice-to-have items for future guests. Otherwise, great house, great location!

Everything was clean and tidy! We loved the outdoor space with the lounge area (and 2 TVs) and pool and hot tub..There were two beach accesses that were a very short walk from the home. Sadly, we had terrible weather and a power outage. The real estate company came out to check the property and to see if we needed anything. There were lots of games, and puzzles to keep us occupied during the storms. Aside from weather, we loved our vacation. We would definitely recommend this home.
