Forresters Cottage, Armadale
This was a last minute booking and was well worth the 8 hour drive to get to Armadale. Cottage was fantastic and felt immediately cosy and homely. The area is spectacularly beautiful- we will be coming back!

Excellent location and stunning views, very clean, tidy, everything we required for our visit was provided. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

I liked the small number of units, it was quiet. I liked the walks amenity nearby. Plenty to do in the area too.

A Quiet Escape
It was very clean and very comfortable. The cabin was in a very quiet location. It was well stocked with lots of dishes and cutlery. There was a small grocery within a four minute walk. Armadale castle was close by.

Great accommodation, clean and well equipped with amazing views. Spacious with good storage. Very well organised with regards to Covid guidance. We will definitely return.

Preis und Leistung stimmen hier nicht, da müsste mal renoviert werden innen wie außen, und vor allem mal richtig sauber gemacht werden, Ventilatoren in den Badezimmern sind voll mit hundert Jahre staub, es gibt viele Dinge die nicht passen, Licht, TV, Heizung, Einrichtung........

Wonderful Stay..!!!
Our stay at Armadale Castle’s Glengarry lodge was very good. The lodge was really well equipped and has lovely views from all the rooms.

Lovely accommodation but isolated
Lovely place. But very isolated and out of the way. Have to drive 30 minutes to the nearest supermarket and restaurant. The armada castle and gardens are pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

Good stay, but not suitable for exploring Skye!
It was a spacious apartment type suite. Faculties were appropriate. Though situated inside the castle compound Armadale itself is not a convenient place to stay if one is trying to explore the skye. All the interesting sites are far away. Portree or somewhere near broadford would have been better suited. The castle is in ruins, but the garden was beautiful and was well kept. The museum was interesting, though may not interest Asians too much as it is about Scotland history. But the visit comes free of one stays in this property.

A fabulous time had by all!
We had a lovely stay at these lodges in Feb 2019. Comfortable accommodation, well equipped and very warm inside, just a short walk to the ferry terminal and local shop. The stunning views over the water was the cherry on top!

RUSTIC CABIN IN SKYE - with modern conveniences! A log cabin up on the hill with a beautiful view of the water & ferry dock. Easy check-in -- it would have been nicer if cabin was heated up to temperature before we checked in -- pretty cold @ 3:00 pm. in January. Also, it would have been nice if towels & toilet paper had been replenished during our 4 night stay, lucky the 'corner store' had TP! Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Armadale Castle and would recommend it … you've got to see the Skye!! Gasta Restaurant is an easy 10 minute walk (downhill) from the lodges -- Roast beef & Yorkshire 'Puds' served on Sundays was the best we've ever had! Fish 'n chips were good, too.

Schöne Unterkunft , Umfeld sehr ländlich ! Die Schloßruine mit Museum und Gartne ist sehenswert und kostenlos wenn man in Armadale Castle übernachtet !

Tolle Lodge
Es war einfach toll. Die Aussicht von der Lodge ist super. Einrichtung sehr gut, alles vorhanden. Großzügig und gemütlich. Um Ausflüge. Zu machen, auf der Insel etwas längerer Anfahrtsweg, aber man wird von der Aussicht. Entschädigt. An und Abreise sehr einfach, Name der Lodge steht auf Buchung, Tür ist offen, Zettel auf Tisch mit Begrüßung und Schlüssel. Bei Abreise Schlüssel auf Tisch und fahren

Heimelige Lodge mit toller Aussicht
Wir (Familie mit einem Kind) haben drei Nächte in der Kepoch Lodge verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gefallen und ist mit allem ausgerüstet, was man braucht.
