“We loved our stay. Family run business with extraordinary personalized service. All rooms are different and have been decorated with Murano Crystal, you feel in a fairy tale; the breakfast is delicious; we always got some treats in our room and they even packed us breakfast since we were checking out early to catch our flight. 100% recommended”

“My husband, 9 and 10-year-old daughters and I loved staying at the B&B Fortuny. It is a very short walk from the water bus stop which makes it an easy journey to and from the Marco Polo Airport. Andrea sent clear and detailed instructions on how to get there. He gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived even helping to carry our luggage up the stairs. “It was our first time in Venice and we got there at night. Not being from there, I was on edge walking through the narrow alleys that were not always well lit. Once we got to our bed and breakfast though, as soon as we opened the door, it was wonderful. The staff and the amenities were great.”

“The hotel is as luxurious as the name implies. Recently renovated rooms with good material that feels luxurious. The placement of the hotel is great, at least 15 minutes walking in any direction will bring you to a attraction. The service was perfect with the woman working there being very friendly and helpful. She let us have our bags there after check out so we did not have to carry everything with us. Highly recommend!”

“un Hôtel sympa et calme”

“We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to do. Quick walk to the water taxi for train station, and short walk to San Marco square. The friendliest employees and our room was great. We stayed in the suite with two king beds, our 20 year old son was traveling with us and was perfect!”

“If we could give a higher rating we would! We got upgraded to the signature appartment with the rooftop terrace and it is just a fantastic place to stay at. Awesome location with views over the canals and to sit at the rooftop and overlook the basilica of San Marco is just breathtaking. If we are to return to Venice we would definitely choose the same place again. Fantastic!”

“We had a wonderful stay at B&B Palazzo where Davide and his family welcomed us warmly. The family room was classically beautiful with tapestry walls and stone floors, reflecting the historic building. The adress is also perfect; just a minutes walk from the busy streets and a few more to Rialto; also easily reached from Fondamenta Nove coming by boat from the airport. The kids are begging us to return (11 & 13 y), and we will definitely do so if returning to Venice in the future.”

“Läget var naturligtvis jätte bra om man vill röra sig runt San Marcoplatsen. Man bör dock veta att allt är dyrast, sämre och och mer "turistfälla" just runt San Marco platsen. T.ex. restaurangerna blir billigare, bättre och trevligare ju längre bort från San Marcoplatsen man kommer, och jag menar gångavstånd. Det samma gäller tydligen hotellen. "San Marco Palace" är dyrare än många finare hotell jag bott på i t.ex. London och New York, men har en standard att jämföra med ett svenskt...
