Very, very good
Nice quiet and modern hotel with a great location. Friendly staff. Nice room. Plentiful breakfast. Clean. Its next to the Bosphorus and bus BN1 from the road on the other side of an ancient wall facing Armada got us to Eminonu in a few minutes. The terrace is a great place when the weather is pleasant.

We wanted to stay away from known hotel chains and have a Turkish experience and we were looking for a location close to main historical sites since we only had 3 days to explore Istanbul. We were happy with our choice - the location of Armada hotel is perfect - very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. The hotel is clean and beds were comfortable. The terrace is beautiful - with the view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque on one side and the sea view on the other side. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They hotel offers very good breakfast and opportunity to have dinner and drinks on the terrace enjoying the view. In addition, there are many options for dining and drinks nearby. We would definitely come back!

Otroligt genuint och charmigt hotell med bra läge nära de flesta historiska sevärdheterna.

Armada visit
This is a 3 star hotel,but they have a nice stuff who are helpfull and kind. We arrived at 7 am but they give us our rum at once and we did not have to wait untill 13.The only minus was that we did not got a rum with kingsize bed as requisted but 2 single bed. Breakfast is good and the view from the roof where they serve it is beautiful. Good location and close to Haiga Sofia,blue Mosuqe and Topika palace (15-25 min walk)

Personalen är mycket hjälpsamma och serviceinriktade. Lyxig frukost på taket med utsikt över Bosporen. Väldigt nära till alla sevärdheter och hur många restauranger som helst.

Nice and clean hotel with a tremedeous view from the restaurantto both Bosporen and old town. Right into the old town. Nice and helpful staff. Good food and nice staff at the restaurant. Isatanbul is an fantstaic town!

Great value with good location
We had a great stay, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. Breakfast has lots of healthy choices and comes with an excellent view over the water on one side and blue mosque and hagia Sofia on the other side. The hotel is perfectly located close to the sights in the old city. We truly recommend the hotel.

Utmärkt hotell med bra läge
Bra läge nära vattnet och Blå Moskén, men vägen ner från moskén är smal, ruffig och trafikerad.

Good hotel but not as great as people write.
Our experience was good. Clean rooms, nice atmosphere in the hotel and a great location but this hotel does not have a gym, sauna, pool or anything extra that would make it great. It is a very good standard hotel with good (but not great) service and most importantly clean rooms. BEST: Breakfast was delicious and varied. WORST: Bad sound proofing in the rooms. Could hear a lot of noise from neighbours and the corridor. All in all we would recommend this place but also say that there are other maybe more priceworthy options in the area.

Fint hotell med relativt bra läge. Hotellet ligger ca 10 minuter ifrån Blå moskén.

This hotel's location is what makes it attractive for lodgers. Everything you want to visit in the Old City is within walking distance from Armada. Also, I loved the view of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara from the roof, where a limited but hearty breakfast was served (I still think about the three different and delicious cheeses that were offered). My room was comfortable, although I did not appreciate the poor drainage of water in the shower (the floor does not slope down) and the boxed, triangular lamp above my bed that was too close to my head. On the other hand, Armada's rooftop restaurant offers authentic and delicious Turkish mezes and dishes. Enjoy a flavorful meal while viewing the Bosphorus or the Blue Mosque!

The rooftop view photos you see on their website are a bit wishful. I'd love to know what sort of photo wizardry was used to quadruple the size of that outdoor area! We liked our room but had a cold feeling from the staff. Customer service did not seem to be a priority.
