“We tried calling for a late check in HOURS before they said the office was closed.. they never answered the phone. As a result we showed up and of course they were closed. Had to book the last room that was available in Porec for the night after midnight for 3x what we paid for the room here. Have not received any communication back from the hotel after requesting a refund.”

“Lovely hotel, in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Rovinj. We walked into town each evening (20-25 mins) and got a taxi back. The beach is a five minute walk away, but you can walk for ages in either direction and find lovely spots to sunbathe. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. The breakfast each morning was brilliant - lots of variety, freshly cooked pastries, fresh fruit - different each day. The staff team is excellent. “The photos do not do it justice. This place was so wonderful!! Rovinj is a most charming town and this place was no exception. The entrance is on the busy walking street which made it easy to get to everything, but once inside it’s very private. Dominik was extremely helpful and welcoming. He and his wife made an incredible breakfast. We loved everything about this place!!”

“The location was the saving feature of our stay. The apartment is located in the old town in a quiet area. The apartment appears nice enough but our bed wasn’t made when we finally checked in. We had ask to check in early (1pm) but left waiting until 3pm outside until a message with the door code was received. Other issues or questions ignored by the WhatsApp contact- no human on site. (E.g no light bulb in the room/ do we get more loo roll on a 6 night stay?!). As someone else said 3 months...

“Vi var överlag nöjda med hotellet. Inte superfräscht men funkade för en natt. Fantastisk kille som arbetade på hotellet som verkligen var serviceminded, gav många tips på sevärdheter, försökte göra det bra för våra barn. Exempelvis sprang han ut på stan och köpte speciell frukost till våra barn då utbudet var mer vuxenanpassat.”

“Nice and quiet small hotel far away from hordes of tourists. 150 meters to the beach and 10 minutes with car to the nearest bigger city Umag. Hotel has an adjacent restaurant (which we DON'T recommend) and there is a nice pizzeria and a tavern in the tiny village. The hotel has a lovely pool with sun beds and parasols for shade. I would truly recommend Villa Badi for romantic couples or travelers just wanting to get away from the rush!”
