“Stayed only for one night and arrived really late so we didn't see the surroundings. The hotel is very standard. In the morning we found out that we was looking at a dump with old cars and stuff. The included breakfast have to improve a lot to be worth staying for. Right across the street are a McDonalds which was our choice.”

“It is a well maintained and managed old property. The Laurel doesn't have the amenities of modern hotels, but the location, the private balcony with an amazing view was worth the stay. The owner/operators are great folks.They were understaffed but the working staff were great, friendly and helpful.
The food at the restaurant was very good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive.”

“Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly, parking was available conveniently and for free. I specially loved how this site provides complimentary water bottles, fresh-baked cookies, and 24hr coffee. Breakfast was good with many choices, but my only gripe was that oatmeal container was lined with thin plastic, really?...cooked oatmeal in a thin plastic?? Otherwise, everything would be excellent. “The hotel was conveniently located and very clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Because of the weather and downpours, we decided to eat in at Monks- and the service was phenomenal as well as the food! Definitely glad we stayed.”

“Great location and it was close to many shopping stores and restaurants. Staffs were courteous. Room was in good size but it had some musty smell. We had 2 dirty towels among many towels. I didn't bother to tell staff. Breakfast area was small and it was not good. However, it was good stay overall.”
