âWe were looking for an âoff-touristâ spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but wouldâve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didnât have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end âglampingâ. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. â
âMy wife and loved this property. The views are amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it. The property is an experience in itself. Great if you like epic views, sun rises/sets, or love open skies. â
âBe aware they have rooms without AC, they gave us a fan only room. We were supposed to get a Junior suite and it was nothing like the picture. Not enough towels for the three guests, small beds, close to the reception so the noise early in the morning was not fun at all. Property is nice, cold water pool was been clean so we couldnât use it for day and a half. Good food, decent drinks prices.â
âThe apartment was extremely clean, spacious, and finely decorated. One can definitely have a good night rest considering the quietness of the area and the comfortable beds.
The bathroom is ample with clean crisp towels and they indicated that tap water was potable (apt for drinking).
Jorge was very attentive and provided very clear instructions before our arrival.

âThis was a hotel worthy of the 4 star they claim. From Bryans excellence in the reception to Albertos service in the restaurant we have only good things to share. Food tasted great, and the prices was even better then a 3 star hotel we had just come from. There are alot of birds in the hotel that really gives the jungle vibe. They had also great tours. The Arenal volcano tour With Pedro was super! This place is great if you wish to be close to La fortuna and Arenal but outside the hectic tourism...

âIf youâre planning to escape the cityâs chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful.
The only inconvenience is that itâs located far from everything and everyone. If you plan on doing any activities in Costa Rica, make sure to plan ahead. Moving around there would be easy with a car.

âWe loved our stay at Bungalows Las Iguanas. The bungalows was really clean and well furnished with tv, wifi and plenty of towels. The pool and jaccuszzi were great. The owners were really nice and made sure everything was to our liking. They even showed us a sloth was was passing by for a couple of days. The breakfast was great and made fresh to order. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to this areaâ

âHeliconia har gĂ„tt frĂ„n natur till mer familjeinriktning. För ett Ă„r sedan satt alla frukostgĂ€ster med kikare och kameror och tittade pĂ„ alla de olika arter av fĂ„glar som Ă€ven de fick frukost i form av frukter. Detta har tyvĂ€rr tagits bort.

You can tell and appreciate that the construction is new and in relatively solid shape. There were a few items where the quality of the craftmanship was less than ideal. For example, the kitchen sink did not drain water (without debris) properly and there was a bathroom fixture that was loose.
