Bedbugs in my room, I checked every hotel and found them here . They just tried giving me another room . They have no system, tried to charge me for a room that was paid for on expedia

Outside doors had no locks and most rooms weren’t even in service. Wrote credit cards down on paper because the “system was down”. I have a feeling there was no system, avoid this place there’s a reason it was cheeper! You will feel unsafe!

The building is in desperate need for an upgrade. The building elevator flooring is peeling up, the shower and tub faucet pour out water at the same time so the slower have very low flow, and mildew was growing in the tub. The staff was very friendly, kind and patient.

Murder Suite
King Suite with a jacuzzi tub and hideaway sofa bed. Clerk advised there were no sheets available for the sofa bed. Negotiated to get a flat sheet for the kids to lay on. Dog (we think) hair all over the bedspread. Never got hot water in the tub, shower or sink even after clerk checking it and saying it works after 5 minutes of constant running. Last straw was bloody and or feces stained mattress, drip marks down the side.

The room was old and the furniture looked 30yrs old. The carpet was dirty and had stains on it. It looked like it was bought by Indians from Asia. The staff were mainly Indians. . Some of the Direct TV channels has no sound.

It was extremely had to understand the person that checked us in. The next morning we had to wake up the same person to check out. The ice machine was not working. The room was pretty clean.

The property appears to making improvements. The room was clean and everything worked great. The carpet had stains in many spots but appeared very clean.You will not find a manger more helpful then Lauren, she made my experience wonderful. It was difficult to check in due to a language barrier. And 2 of the 5 rooms had bed bugs.

The photos were not at all like they were advertised. The room smelled like it needed to be aired out and smelled like dust and mold. The coffee pot was dusty. The lock on the door was broken, then sheets were stained. The tub dripped all night and there was a dog that barked all night. Breakfast was 2 boxes Dunkin Donuts. I will not be returning to this location.

Shower didn't work. room had musky odor. Hair in sink. bug on shower curtain. Everyone at breakfast complain about options. ( toast and cereal and something the color of eggs. Obvious the owners don't care. They should sell this place. For a busy weekend in town, they had very little business. I see why now.

Our stay
Stay was for 4 days and 3 nights. Had to have the card to the room reactivated every day cause it stopped working after 11 am. There was no water pressure in the shower and the shower head was about to fall off. Some of the rooms had pieces of paper taped to the doors stating to either remove the carpet or demolish the whole thing. The table in our room was about to fall apart. The carpet was nasty. The free breakfast consisted of stale cereal, stale bread, only coffee to drink, and they only made enough eggs for a couple of people. There was no coffee in the room and the coffee maker had not been cleaned. It had a used filter still in the coffee pot.

The water in the shower did not get warm. Personnel was not friendly. Nothing looked clean. If they did not get my credit card information when I made the reservation I would have gone somewhere else.

The hotel was dirty and they had very noisy people. We left in the middle of the night because the room next to us wouldn't be quiet. the hotel staff didn't do anything about it either. We asked three times for them to tell them to be quiet and nothing happened.

Wanted to pay cash for my room and put a credit card on file to cover any “incidentals”. Was told that couldn’t be done unless I could pay additional cash upfront for the incidentals. ??? Every floor had multiple rooms in the middle of the hallways blocked off that in process of being repaired (drywall, carpet, complete gut - were just some of the notes taped to the doors). While my room was fine and quire comfortable, the overall feel of the hotel was in need of repair.

Our room was very dirty. There were fecal pieces around the toilet. There was a blood stain on the bed. And the whole place including the room smelled like weed. We stayed here the night of our wedding so we didn’t have to drive home and I was very disappointed and I feel bad I recommended this place to other people at the wedding. Definitely not a pleasant stay and the hotel needs to be much cleaner.

NASTY HOTEL
This hotel is filthy! Stained carpet, dirty couch, dirty towels, and pillow case had what looks like old blood stains and dirty. Don't bother about complaining to them because you will get nothing in return. The walls were tore out of some of the rooms, but say there's not doing any renovations. NO WIFI AND NO BREAKFAST as advertised

Last time we will stay at Baymont Jacksonville,il
We have stayed here at least 3 times. This time was the worst. The first room had no air condtioning. They moved us to another room. The next room had cracker crumbs in the bead. No cups, kleenex, or wash clothes. (the first room the tub was cracked) The full length mirror was dirty with stuff dried on stuff running down it. A light bulb was out over the sink. The tv remote did not work. I stopped in the restroom in the lobby. Not very clean at all, well worn and used. No paper towels to dry your hands on. Over all, not very clean (even the lobby needed a good dusting and scrubbing) or well supplied with basic essentials. We were afraid to eat breakfast there so we passed. The vending machines were empty. The only redeeming quality was the gal that checked us in. Very nice and friendly. Dissappointed in our stay. This use to be our affordable ,go to, hotel in Jacksonville.

When we first got to the room, the only lights that worked was the one on the ceiling. Called the office and the employee was not able to get 2 out of three lights working. Also no Kleenix anywhere..

The hotel seemed very old and outdated. It didn’t seem clean… the hallway ways needed wiped down. I was reluctant to step on the carpet with no shoes. Our lights didn’t work in the hotel room and the air conditioner wasn’t the most efficient. The bathroom tub dripped water all night. At breakfast the Dunkin’ Donuts were more than a day old.

Window in our room was very drafty. Storm went through the night we stayed and the curtains would move from the amount of wind coming through. Mold on shower curtain. Beds were very clean. Front of house, and I got the impression that she also cleaned the rooms, was very nice.
