“Breakfast was not included in the cost of the room. Paying $4.00 for a cup of coffee is a bit much! A restaurant was in the hotel, with limited hours, very pricey, and with a very limited menu. A from the restaurant would have been helpful, no information was in the room. The faucet in the bathroom sink is so short you could hardly get your hands under it. I expected more from a Marriott.”

“We had a great stay overall. The room was clean, and the staff were very kind. The gentleman at the check-in counter was especially professional and welcoming. The only small issue was that one of the extra sheets for the couch bed had a stain on it. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. We’ve had a few not-so-great experiences during past visits, but this time definitely restored our trust. We’re really glad we gave this hotel another chance, and we’ll be happy to stay again. Thank you!”

“The check-in staff lady was helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The parking was convenient, well lit. Our room was dreadful. There was a horrible smell, so terribly bad that we had to open the window for ventilation. The smell was what seemed to be animal urine. We were hesitant to stay in the room, over night, but had no other choice as we were in town for ECU graduation. “It stunk like hell in the room”

“Breakfast was ok. There are plenty of shops nearby.”

“My reservation had been cancelled and I wasn’t aware of it. They said they had been overbooked. Guys at the front desk were very apologetic. It was odd that they were overbooked and cancelled my reservation but offered me a room for $240 when I had only paid $92. It was graduation weekend at ECU. My guess is they knew they could get more for the room that weekend and that’s why they cancelled reservations. I refused to pay $240 a night at this hotel. Expedia finally got them to let them book...
