First impressions matter—absolutely no parking near the home for nearly an hour, storm door was broken and would not close, porch light look liked it had been hit by a bat and did not work. Once you get inside expect a narrow and steep flight of stairs to get to the main level of the house.The actual was nicely remodeled, individual room A/C units kept the space comfortable, even in the summer heat. Spaces were clean and basic supplies and amenities were provided. A few things to note:—the valve handles in both showers were rather loose, with the handle falling off in the main floor shower. —plan on a 45 minute Uber/Lyft to get to anything in NYC…there are a few local shops and eateries, but it very limited.—if you’re driving yourself, find another place. We arrived in two cars and it took well over an hour to find street parking within 3 blocks. We ended up buying parking permits (50 each) to make sure we weren’t ticketed; one of our vehicles was still ticketed, even with the permit and being parked clearly in an unrestricted space (areas are blocked off for driveways and hydrants).
