You will need taxi for most of the activities. The hotel is walking distance to DianChi only. Overall, hotel is nice for getaway , but not too convenient if you are here for touring the city ”

“This is a wonderful hotel and the staff are very kind. The early 20th C modernist architecture has been lovingly respected and restored, and interiors are modernized without eye-sore. What a treasure! And a surprise from initial photos to see a twin building facing the hotel building. The historical area around has amazing old wood buildings, with lattice windows and carved shutters, all lit up at night, with myriad food places and shops and hundreds of people milling around, dancing, taking...
