“This was definitely a unique experience and was perfect for a quick visit to Grand Rapids for a work trip. You can walk to shops, amenities are all around, I was 4 minutes from the office and street parking was free and abundant. This was very similar to an Airbnb experience, self check-in and out without the list of tasks to do. “The room I was assigned had an unpleasant odor. I explained that to Casey and she immediately assisted me in finding another, acceptable room. Casey was great!
Travelers should know that Sparks by Hilton is a “no frills “ motel. So no note pen or pen in the room. No coffee pot in the room. Be sure to grab a cup from the 24 hour coffee area near the lobby because there isn’t one in your room.

“Hotel was run down, shower was leaking every time I used it. The hallways smelled like smoke. I was on ground floor and I heard these loud weird noises that sounded like machine type noises that were banging and very loud and went off every 5 minutes during the day.
