“The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”

“The staff is super helpful, the rooms are unique and the area is very nice. The “Oh Taco” restaurant on the premises is a must, especially the guacamole with feta and honey! Don’t miss out on that! Would absolutely recommend staying here.”

“No hairdryer was provided which was an issue at a water park. Everything was good except discount tickets were not provided, told we could only buy ahead of time.”

“My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. “Travelling with family for a one night stay just passing through Sandusky. Pictures did not do it justice. First of all the surroundings seemed a bit shady and felt generally unsafe. Room was worn down. Key machine was malfunctioning so check in took a long while. Internet access took forever which they blamed on the bad weather. People were being noisy late in the evening and no one seemed to care. Reeked of weed. Would not recommend for a family.”
