“The spa, the outdoor pool and the fine dining restaurant were all great. They gave us boots and jackets for our walk, which was great. The informal restaurant was not that great. I paid £18 for a worse than average burger. Also, there were not many cosy places to sit around with a drink or coffee. There was only one room, which could easily get crowded. Luckily, we were there on a Monday in March, so this time it wasn't but I think the occupancy was only about 25-30%.”

“Thanks a lot to Callum in the bar who made it possible for us 9 people to enjoy a Nice Dinner without reservations, in the restaurant. Extra kudos to Steve who showed the kids around the upcoming breakfast tables and was ever so nice. The reception manager needs education in how to greet newcomers, but apart from that, everything was great, But oh, the swimming pool access was not possible. It is located in the next block across the street and the people there refused to let us in, claiming...

“Normalbra värdshus som är helt okey, men som saknar det där lilla extra. Inga egentliga klagomål. Lugnt rum mot tvärgata (rum mot huvudgatan = ovanpå puben sannolikt störande ljud). Full English breakfast okey. Pub med ett par goda ales och bra priser. Bra ös på en fredagskväll, lugnt på torsdagskvällen. Bra läge i Cotswolds om man t ex vill vandra.”

“Room was clean and smelled fresh, bed was comfortable, shared shower room also clean. Staff at check-in located in nearby 'Central hotel' were friendly as was the housekeeping who needed to wake me up as I'd overslept (like I said the bed was comfortable). It's all you need without the unnecessary frills, great value, will definitely use again,”

“I arrived late at night, it was a bit of effort to find the exact place of my Room at the property site as there was no Counter Service late at night. Driveway at the rear of the Property is very rough, definitely can be improved by Owner.”
