âI have stayed at Fernwood Manor for many years and the standards are always excellent. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is legendary and always freshly cooked. The gardens are immaculate and the poll - devine. I cannot recommend it highly enough ! â
âA lovely safe B&B a short drive from downtown Cape Town. Easy to find on the way from the airport.
We were greeted in a friendly and professional way. Our room very cozy yet huge. The one thing that took us by surprise was the door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Beeing Scandinavians used to privacy a partially unstained glassdoor feels a bit awkward but easily solved with one of us going to the nice honestybar/WiFi area ;)

âAcceptable standards but, unfortunaly, the Riversong Guest House is tucked away in a sort of backyard of Cape Town. Sorry but safe comfort is of prime importance to us.â

âMycket trevligt hotell, personligt och vĂ€lkomnande! Ett litet familjĂ€rt hotell, supergod frukost, fina och relativt stora rum. Hela miljön Ă€r vĂ€ldigt avkopplande och bjuder verkligen in till lugn och ro. Inredningen Ă€r fantastisk och vĂ€ldigt tilltalande, vacker villa. Hotellet serverar inte lunch el middag, men för oss inga problem, eftersom det endast ta 10-15 min att köra in till Kapstaden dĂ€r urvalet Ă€r stort. Poolen kunde ha varit lite bĂ€ttre rengjord, men helt o.k.â
âOh how lovely to be in a creative environment and enjoy the lovely pottery pieces all over the property. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. We were so appreciative to be able to use the washing machine too.
There are some lovely restaurants a 5 min walk away in Second Avenue.
We will definitely be back next year on our return to Cape Town.â
âExcellent location very close to the city as well as main attractions like Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch. Our host was extremely gracious and went out of his way to let us in after hours late at night after our flight was delayed and to answer our questions. The on site parking is very handy for our rental car and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend this spot for 1-3 travelers looking to see the area! â
