We had a lovely stop here on our cross country road trip! Definitely the most beautiful part of our stay. Joel was attentive, helpful, and has curated a fantastic place to stay in Joshua Tree!

The little bungalow was clean and as described. The pool was a welcome bonus.We just had a little issue with the AC leaking on us in the middle of the night.

Almost excellent stay! The kitchen was hard to work with due to size and lack of stove (there were electric hot plates) since we were staying three days and cooking. Views are great and other accommodations great!

Such a beautiful home base for us as we toured Joshua Tree National Park each day. It was our little oasis. I was traveling with a childhood friend, so we chose the Sonoran Traveler for the two bedrooms. Beds were so comfortable. Beautiful light coming in all day long. A lovely courtyard for sitting and reading and having coffee. Nice to have evening air coming in-- windows on three sides of the unit (including the small bathroom window). We didn't use the AC since temps were not too hot and because the trees really keep the unit quite cool and comfortable. I enjoyed seeing the sunrise from the little step outside my bedroom door. And we sure loved our private courtyard as well as all the other outdoor spaces on the property, with such thoughtful seating/tables/decorations. Surrounded by hummingbirds and songbirds and flowers blooming and gorgeous tree canopy. What a sweet place. Everyone was so friendly. I would not hesitate to book again. This was just what we needed, and I do hope to be back again. We were commenting that this (with the multiple units) would be an amazing place to book for a group.

Close to everything, clean, cute, great patio outside. This was perfect - had absolutely everything we needed. The host was so nice and communicative with the couple questions we had - and so quick to answer. Great for renting one unit but now we want to come back and bring a group of friends - it's perfect for either!

I stayed for 2 nights and found it to be very relaxing. This is a very original kind of place, maybe not for everyone. It is not like a chain motel, it has real character.

Beautiful property, peaceful stay!

Number 3 was blissfully air conditioned when we arrived on a hot afternoon. The interior was lovely and the beds comfortable. The property was quiet. And when I accidentally left my phone in the room after checkout, one of the proprietors graciously let me back in. We’ll definitely be back!

Love how cozy the place is. Slept like a baby. Area feels safe. Place has complete amenities. Very good for its price. Would appreciate it if they added mirrors outside the bathroom. Other than that would recommend and book again.

It was very charming clean cottage. In the best way possible it kind of has an alien vibes. You can wonder around the compound, which is a feast for the eyes, with many interesting and eclectic artifacts to view We only stayed a night but it was great. We sat in our private patio, looking at the most amazing stars, and hearing the coyotes in the distance All and all it was wonderful

Great Oasis in the Desert

We had a wonderful stay at Spin & Margie's (not the actual names of the owners haha) for our girls' weekend. The 3rd room was perfect for three of us with three beds, and the little kitchen was enough for our needs. We enjoyed takeout dinner in the courtyard each night, watched the sunset from our patio, and watched movie in the room. The owners were very friendly and responsive, and the whole place was very cute. There's even a heated pool (which I missed when booking so we didn't have swimsuits). We will definitely stay here when we visit Joshua Tree again. We can't wait to come back!

I'll start with the good. This is a quiet compound with a cool vibe, a neat pool, and easy access to Joshua Tree National Park. Now the bad. We discovered numerous dead bugs in the bed as well as a few long black hairs (neither my girlfriend nor I have black hair). We attempted to contact the host to resolve this issue, and they did not respond. The unit also lacked privacy. First, someone could look right into the bathroom. In addition, the front door had a window which was barely covered by a see-through veil, providing a direct line of sight to the bed. It was very uncomfortable to be so exposed.

Beautiful property, lack of response from hosts, no interaction at all was a bit disconcerting. The second room with bunk beds can get hot and would benefit from fans as there is only AC in main bedroom. The setting and patio were pretty and the location is fantastic for park entrance. I do not recommend getting there after dark. We did, unintentionally, and it was so confusing to find, there is no signage on gates or at property to let you know you're there. We figured it out but it was rough at the end of a long day in the car.
