âOur stay at the AVO Boutique Hotel in Uroa, Zanzibar, was a truly wonderful experience. We traveled as a family of three and stayed in the spacious Studio 6. The hotel is small but charming, with a warm and personal atmosphere. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, as was the entire staff.

âThe hotel was very clean and nice. The service was wonderful with super friendly staff. The food was of good quality, all fresh with great variations on breakfast and dinner buffet every day. The beach was nice and quiet despite it being a public beach. The hotel has a bar by the beach with real lovely staff and good drinks. We had a great time hanging at the bar.

"Beautiful over water villa that looked exactly like the pictures. We truly enjoyed the villa experience. 2 improvement areas; The food. The salads lacks creativity, the choices are few. The room service meny works. After we complained we were offered to order through the room service menu instead. The sense of urgency when it comes to service. We expected this to be a luxurious experience, but it took us close to 2 hours from order to delivery of food to the villa. Incredibly slow."

The service and hospitality is top tier, never experienced anything on this level. The food was amazing, the massage I booked and the meditation class. Just what I needed in one place.
