The space

Oceanfront LUXURY vacation home on the rugged southwest coast of Vancouver Island. Overlooking the ocean and mountains, our home gives easy access to wonderful beaches and spectacular old growth forest. This friendly area is a treat for nature lovers and is the perfect place for exciting activities or deep relaxation. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed as well as a sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, Satellite TV with Netflix, gas fireplace and bluetooth speaker. Enjoy the propane fire table and gas BBQ on the balcony where you'll want to spend hours looking out at the spectacular ocean and mountain views.

Other things to note

This area is popular for fishing, cycling and hiking. Surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking down the Gordon River is very popular. So many places to go hiking and exploring including the gorgeous Botanical Beach and the old growth of Avatar Grove. Take a 10 minute drive to Fairy Lake and another 15 minutes toLizard Lake and enjoy floating on an air mattress or a dip in the lake to cool off in the heat of the summer months. Check out the entrance to the West Coast and Juan d'Fuca Trails. Take a 5 minute stroll to the new Gateway marina. Other amenities are the Port Renfrew Pub, the Coastal Kitchen (open seasonally) and Tomi's Cafe (great coffee, breakfast and lunch) at the foot of Baird Road.
