“Badon Boutique is an excellent place to stay in St Emilion, Staff were so helpful, Parking is a real problem in this very popular tourist town but there is spacious parking albeit having to navigate beforehand through the narrow cobbled streets.There are wine shops all around you, including their own. “Food is excellent and we were made very welcome despite arriving late for dinner after a long drive. The chateau itself is a lovely building in a beautiful setting and is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern. Atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but will do next time we visit.”

“Riktigt mysigt hotell med grym service känsla från personalen. Fantastisk vy från restaurangen över vinodlingar och grönytor med poolen. Bra frukostbuffé. Rummet var fräscht med fasta sköna sängar. Egen terrass med kvällssol var pricken över i. Dock bör man tänka på att söndag och måndag fanns ingen restaurang eller butik öppen i byn. Men 5km bort låg den mysiga Saint-Émilion. En turist by med fokus på vin och historia. Gott om små restauranger. ”

Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable.
