âThis was my favorite hotel that I stayed in while in Kerala. The service was top notch - the staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable! The property sits right on the water. The rooms are spacious. The food was wonderful. They helped me coordinate a canoe ride through the backwaters. In order to get to the property in this prime location, the car ride is on a small dirt road at the end.â
âEnjoyed our stay here. This was our first vacation post COVID. We made up for all that we missed because of COVID. Would recommend a good lake view room. Also take a stroll outside the resort along the river. Don't miss the speed boat ride, you will go through narrow river lanes and low bridges. There is a small jetty for speed boat and shikara within the property itself. Thanks for all the staff for making this memorable,â
âOk hotel although we were irritated because the manager promised to book a boat for us We specifically said we wanted a small boat to go to the backwaters and not to the lake. He said ok.
The boat that came to pick us up was very big! When asking about that he said it would be safer than a smaller one and when we asked if it really would go to the backwaters he said no- only to the lake, since there are no backwaters! We refused to take the boat and arranged for one ourselves in another place,...
âProperty is located on the prime location. Itâs a calm and silent area. But the facilities provided like electric kettle and all are damaged. Bathroom door handles were damaged in some rooms.â
âThis property was lovely and we especially enjoyed taking the canoes through the waterway for 7 minutes to the beach. The spa was wonderful and the restaurant on the property is excellent. Fabulous breakfast buffet, and they will make eggs for you. Two nights was not enough here!â
âRemember, this is not about a 5 star stay. This is a family home near the beach. Jimmy, his wife and his son Emile, offer a delightful, 'all we can do to help' environment. It's lovely and your not trashing the environment with loads of ultimately unnecessary extras. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Great home cooking...excellent trips and good aircon. Thanks guys. â
