“I’d like that they have a good view of Fuji mountain and the place is clean and comfy ! Onsen was the best ! Some of the staff are very friendly and some are not .. oh well I don’t ask too much but I enjoyed my stay anyway ”

“The whole ryokan experience was great with only 2 things that needs to be improved. First being the in-room dinner service: the staff didn't mention that meal was being served as courses and we thought the initial portion served was the entire thing. The rice was missing so I had to check with the reception on this. It was confusing on both ends as receptionist mentioned that the staff would have informed us that dinner is served 3 courses but we were not aware. Food was great and delicious but...

“Läget var fantastiskt eftersom det var nära till allt. Personalen var hjälpsam med att hitta frukostställe. Hårda sängar men det beror på vad man tycker om. Gå gärna ut på en tidig morgonpromenad innan alla turister kommer till ön för att uppleva soluppgång och lugnet.”

“This hotel has the best view for Mt Fuji. We got up 5:30 in the morning and enjoyed the sunrise and Pink Fuji. The best part was that we could enjoy the Mt Fuji from open air hot spring Onsen. It was the breath taking experience.”

“What a wonderful stay we had at Hotel Asafuji! The staff were so incredibly kind and welcoming to us. Our room had a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We slept very well on the futons that were prepared on our tatami mats. When we left, the staff gave us several gifts to take home with us. Also, we really appreciated the shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 1 night!”
