“To be honest I expected a lot more for this price and I don’t think the expectations corresponds to the 100 dollar per night price. The location and the rooms were stunning. Everything else was pretty average. You are better off booking a guesthouse at a third of the price and you’d get the same.
Breakfast was unfortunately quite poor and you could not order any other food for lunch or dinner except shrimps.
Besides the location being good the staff was very friendly and helpful :)

“As mentioned, I double booked a second rez for a friend to test what was being offered on Expedia - meaning that my 2nd rez I effectively had 2 rooms reserved for the same day; however 3 rooms still shoed being available with private shower. The staff assured me that this time I would get the room with private bath. ONE staff allowed the transfer with the new rez but a few hours later another staff asked for additional money for this room with the manager behind the scene on the phone. I...
“On arrival thw managed didn't expect us, there wasn't a room ready and they were moving a wardrobe etc into our allocated room. I had to ask for towels, a kettle, a sheet to put over us on the bed. Electric sockets were dangerous, the balcony was filthy and the chairs disgusting. Day 2 of being there, no power and I gave the manager money to top up the electric. After one week there was no water. This place is disgusting and needs closing down ”
“It is a beautiful hotel, especially the outdoor area and the pool. Unfortunately it is very outdated and in need of reparations. The wifi only worked in the reception area. Otherwise nice, friendly staff and a nice breakfest”
“Besökte Gambia för första gången och var något orolig innan men allt fungerade över förväntan efter trängseln och kaoset i ankomsthallen. Gjorde längre utflykter med bra turisttaxi och kortare turer med vanliga taxi av skiftande kvalitet och trivsel. Fina stränder men ganska stora vågor. Med barn känns det säkrast i poolen men stränderna är långa och härliga att promenera på i strandkanten. Man behövde inte känna sig rädd, alla människor var trevliga.
