“The staff have been very friendly and helpful both times I’ve stayed, the beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a hotel, and the location is lovely. It’s better to bring food with you as there is not much to eat around if you don’t have a car, and the taxi to/from Ugata station is about 2000 yen. The pool is a perfect depth for small children. Love the old fashioned bathtub but children and the elderly might need some help getting in and out. We will definitely be coming back!”

“The birthday dinner was great in every way and the Japanese breakfast was even better! We enjoyed the stay. The only minus point was that we couldn't have coffee at the breakfast. Is it too much to ask Shojitei to provide coffee even it's a Japanese hotel?”
