“Very helpful and friendly staffs. Front reception Ashok, Anish, Nauton, Nisha and other housekeepers staffs, kitchen staff all of them were very helpful and polite while we stayed there for 11 days. It located in very quiet place which gives peace vibe.
Sometime the AC doesn’t work makes the room really hot. It’s better for management to think about updating advance AC or new AC before guests complain about it. We had to changed the room couples times because of AC didn’t worked properly.”
“Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel....

“Stayed at Aloft before and after trekking to EBC-Gokyo. Really wonderful hotel. A great place to recover after two weeks of heavy trekking. Very clean and luxorious and centrally located in the Thamel tourist area. Very friendly staff nice ambience and good food!”
“... but this is not the case. For the xxx euro/night I payed I expected more comfort. There are far better hotels for this kind of money in the region.
The main complain is bad sound insulation. If you get a room towards the garden where the restaurant is you will hear all the guest talking until late night. You will hear them in the morning too of cause. Unless you sleep too deep because you are tired of not being able to sleep the whole night. :-)
