“The first room smelled of cigarettes but the staff switched us to a new room right away. The second smelled sth else, maybe cleaning products covering up old dirt. The room felt old and tired. Too bad....”

“I stop here twice a year as I travel from N.C. to NY and am always greeted by a friendly face. I am situated in a comfortable room in a quiet corner of the hotel. I appreciate the convenience of the parking right outside the building making it easy to carry in my belongings, especially if the weather is bad. Breakfast is varied and efficient.”

“Staff was very accommodating- 1st room they gave us was pet friendly but smelled a lot of wet dog. They graciously changed our room. Lovely breakfast.”

“Although the hotel isn’t the most up to date, it was a VERY comfortable stay and every single person we came in contact with was extremely helpful and kind. The front desk staff was in the middle of eating and without hesitation stopped to assist. House keeping brought extra laundry bags to our room within minutes. Breakfast was amazing! The woman making the breakfast and assisting everyone was working her butt off and had a smile on doing it. Very pleased with this place and will be coming back...
