Villa La Vie, offers a welcome blend of style, comfort and heartfelt hospitality. As soon as you arrive, the sense of care and attention to detail is immediately apparent, once the private electric gates open, you are greeted by a lovely rose garden that ideally sits along the approach to the villa, its blooms perfuming the air and setting the tone for a special stay.
Set in tranquil Svoronata (Metaxata), the villa is beautifully appointed and sits within expansive, lawned gardens that slope gently toward sweeping views of the Ionian Sea. The property is set all on one level, creating a relaxed, fluid layout. Inside, the living space is open plan, light and airy, with high beamed ceilings and a calming palette of neutral and earthy tones creating a soothing, elegant ambiance.

There are three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room, and each opening through patio doors onto the sun soaked terraces and lawns, the layout which encourages indoor-outdoor living. Step outside and the delights continue, a generous swimming pool, with step access, framed by lawn, sun terraces, shaded dining patios, and a barbecue/dining pavilion set to one side, ideal for meals outside beneath olive trees and stars. In the evenings, the setting is blissful to unwind with a bottle from the nearby boutique winery, Sarris, just 2.5km down the road.

Beyond the boundaries of the garden, the nearest taverna is a couple of minutes’ drive (or around 20 minutes’ walk), while some of the finest beaches on the island lie just a short drive away. Avithos, with its crystalline waters and iconic hilltop church, is about 2.6km away. More secluded coves like Paliolinos and Amandakis are also reachable in 20 minutes by car or less. The marina at Agia Pelagia is under 5km, with is neighbouring tavernas, and the white sands and amenities of Lourdas lie about 12km from La Vie. While, the island’s capital, Argostoli, is around a 20 minute drive, perfect for those looking to sample waterfront dining, markets and local life.
