Villa Voltera Lixouri Kefalonia

Denna underbara villa med tre sovrum ser ut över det joniska sjön och ligger nära flera vackra stränder. Det öppnar till sin egen privata pool med en al fresco matsal och utomhus lounge - perfekt för att njuta av kaffe på morgonen eller titta på solnedgången efter ett uppfriskande dopp.

Det byggdes om med hjälp av lokala material och traditionella tekniker, vilket resulterade i en lockande blandning som speglar öhistoriken, med en samtida smak. Villaens ljusa, moderna inredning nickar på det omgivande landskapet på ett diskret sätt. Inuti finner man en blandning av inspirerande modern inredning och autentiska smaker av Kefalonia. Jordnära toner av trä och nyanser av vitt, grått och beige är accenterade med bitar och inredning i djärva men varma nyanser som ger en lugn naturlig flykt för sinnena att undra.

Vackra möbler njuta av matsalen och köket, medan du i vardagsrummet kan koppla av på en enorm soffa. Amatör- och prokockar kommer att dras till det fullt utrustade köket. Två av sovrummen har dubbelsängar och badrum; den tredje har två enkelsängar. Charmiga detaljer låna sovrummens personlighet, och utsikten är underbar om du tittar ut mot havet eller uppe i bergen.

The villa had everything we needed, the view was amazing. The host was the best you could hope for, even stayed past midnight to greet us and provided a welcome meal,As well as a supply of essentials. I would recommend this villa to anyone wishing amazing views in peaceful surroundings.

Dream vacation

Seven night stay in a peaceful place, so serene and cozy!!!! Property is well maintained and you have everything you need for your stay: pool, towels, kitchen is packed with all necessary things. Kostas is an AMAZING host!!! He went beyond our expectations: client centric approach, friendly, constantly checked in to make sure that our vacation is as smooth as possible, provided wonderful directions where to take breakfast, lunch and dinner and which places to visit!!! Kostas welcomed us with tasty croissants, his own made wine( white, fresh, crispy wine!!! Fantastic wine Kostas! We loved it). We didn't want to leave this beautiful place!!! It is a must try!!! You will not be disappointed at all!!! Top notch service!!!! We fell in love in this peaceful place 💕 Thank you Kostas for your fantastic service!!! We will be back for sure!!!

Our honeymoon in Kefalonia

The Villa is beautiful, with an incredible view! Absolutely everything you could need (and more!) within the Villa itself, a 5 minute drive into the lovely town of Lixouri and a lovely resident cat to keep you company too! The Villa is so spacious and would be great for family holidays, but was perfect for just us as it’s so quiet and not a neighbour in sight! Kostas was INCREDIBLE and beyond helpful with everything from stocking the fridge & cupboards on our arrival, to giving us recommendations for beaches & restaurants to visit. We will definitely be back one day! The only reason I give the location 4 stars is because there’s not much around you within walking distance but for us that was perfect as we wanted peace and quiet but to stay there you will need a car (although there is a bus stop close by!) Cannot fault the Villa or Kostas at all, perfect honeymoon!

Holiday With Friends In Kefalonia

The property is great, plenty of room and all the things you need are provided. The view from the pool is awesome and the beds are super comfortable. A car is required to access local restaurant's, beaches and Lixouri which is around 10 minutes away. Kostas was brilliant, food, water and his own wine on arrival and he was available to suggest and provide information on taxi's, tours and restaurant's. Overall highly recommended five stars

Our Stay at Villa Voltera

We have just returned from two weeks at Villa Voltera. What a lovely villa! It’s hard to find much to say other than positives. The villa itself is well-appointed, tidy, well-equipped and, in summary, a lovely place to spend time. Plenty of places to relax, both indoors and out. The pool was fantastic - just the right temperature and a good size. You will struggle to find a host as attentive as Kostas - nothing was too much trouble. We arrived fairly late one evening, and Kostas was there to greet us; the cupboards and fridge were well-stocked. Kostas gave us plenty of ideas about what to do, where to and where to eat. Our favourites: Captain Nicholas in Agios Nikolaos and Akrogiali in Lixouri. The barbecues (both has and charcoal) at the villa we’re perfect when we wanted to stay in. We rented a boat h from Escape Boats in Lixouri - recommended. Thanks, Kostas, for all your help. We’ve had a great time. Best regards to you and Eve (the cat)!

A great house, gorgeous view, and gracious host

Villa Voltera was an ideal home base for us, a party of six (two children and four parents). We wanted to stay somewhere convenient that was also away from busy tourist spots. We wanted to find a clean, functional house with a pool and a beautiful view. The villa was all of these things, and more. Kostas was a gracious and attentive host, meeting us after a very late night of travel and leaving the kitchen stocked with provisions and even a dinner. We awoke to a stunning view of the hills and the sea. Kostas checked in that morning to see how we slept, and to help us with our plans for the day. Kostas continued to check in each morning and evening to make sure we had what we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better host, or a better experience.

Stunning views and a great swimming pool!

We spent a fantastic 11 days in this wonderful villa. The villa is perfectly situated with exceptional views (especially in the evenings). The interior of the villa is lovely, with interesting art on the walls. The kitchen is well equipped but it is the outdoor space where this villa really comes in to it's own. The garden is beautiful and so well thought out. It is a colourful yet tranquil space with plenty of seating and outdoor eating options. The pool is one of the nicest we have experienced both in terms of temperature and situation. The villa is located within a 10 minutes drive of Lixouri which offers a wide choice of restaurants and just 5 -15 minutes of some of the best beaches on the island. Our host Kostas, was a super host! Full of superb recommendations for both restaurants and beaches aswell a leaving a wonderful selection of fruits and supplies on our arrival. Really hope to visit again some time in the future. Thank you Kostas!!!

Wonderfully peaceful villa with all mod cons :)

Absolutely spotless villa in a peaceful area just outside Lixouri. 3 great sized bedrooms and an.open plan living area. Kostas very generously stacked our fridge so we had something to eat on arrival including delicoous fruit from his garden. Beautiful private swimming pool and outside dining area. We rrrrrreally enjoyed staying here. Thank you Kostas - great tips and recommendations too. A very kind and thoughtful host.

Wonderful stay and very attentive owner.

If you love Kefalonia and you plan on seeing all the incredible places/beaches, this house is perfect located. 5 minute drive to Xi beach which is one of the nicest beaches on the island for families. Calm shallow waters allow carefree play for kids. Petani beach, one of the nicest beaches in Kefalonia is a 20 min drive. These are two very good home base beaches. When you want to explore Myrtos, Antisomos Fiskardo, Assos, the location of this home makes it a 40 -60 minute drive yo most parts of the island. The home was beautiful, located in a very quiet neighbourhood with an very nice view. The private pool was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Kosta for a wonderful stay. Beautiful Kefalonia

We have just returned from an amazing two week holiday, beautiful villa in a superb location. The views from the villa you will never tire of, the most amazing sunrise and sunset, spotlessly clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Just a short drive to the beach, shops and restaurants and quick hop on the ferry to explore other areas of the island..our host couldn't have been more helpful and was always on hand should we have had any questions..highly recommend this villa we can't wait to return!
