  • About this space

    Relax with your family at this peaceful country cottage guest suite with beautiful gardens, a private pool Community lake and areas for lots of outdoor activities, like hiking, biking, horseback riding, 24 minutes from Dorney Park,15-20 min to 2 major golf courses, Putt-putt and mini-golf. fruit picking, live shows, and fairs. 2hrs from NYC and an hour and a half from Philly. This cottage has so many possibilities I invite you to come home to luxury at its finest.

    The space

    This luxury cottage suite has everything that's needed to relax and have fun. it's beautiful all year and great for vacation all season, with plenty of seasonal activities for the family in the area

    Guest access
    Suite with private entrance and enclosed patio. That opens onto a brick patio with dual purpose fire pit, stepping stones to the pool with water slide. Fully stocked kitchen full size refrigerators and stove. Extra towels, sheets, blankets and lots of every day essential. Grilling area with gazebo, with everything available for grilling. the grill is 36" Blackstone propane grill with air fryer and cabinets $30.00 extra for propane. A drink refrigerator is available. There are 2 sets of stairs leading to and from apartment, please use rails. Community lake 5 minutes walk from the cottage. No motorized equipment allowed. Pool usually closed after labor day. No pets/ animals allowed on property without authorization from Host. All surfaces are slippery when wet. Please proceed with caution when yourself or surfaces are wet. Clean up all outdoor spaces after each use. Do not enter deck. restricted area. when host' pets are on deck or in play area. Do not pet hosts pets or other animals. Host lives on property so you will hear others. It's peaceful and quiet 95% of the time. More quiet than any hotel stay. The most you will hear is occasional foot steps.

    Other things to note

    No pets/animals on property without authorization from host. If you arrive and forgot to declare your pet/animal contact host before checking in. Automatic charge of $175.00 fee for all pets/animals that arrive on property.
    There is pet cleaning fee of $120.00 $ 60.00 for each additional person who arrive on property. Check in information will be provided on day of check in. My goal as your host is to provide my guests with a pleasant experience. I am aware also that each guest will have different need/s. So please assist me in meeting these needs by openly communicating them.

VRBO still has this place a rental property but it is NOT. I was allowed to book the property on VRBO and then on my rental date I found out. It was a very disappointing experience. And impossible to find another rental in the area. While this looks like a lovely place beware it is not available to rent and VRBO needs to take it off as available.

Extremely Disappointed – This Listing Should Not Be ActiveUnfortunately, this property does not deserve any stars. We booked this trip from July 3–6 to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing from the start.We had a few questions before arrival, so we reached out to the owner via the VRBO app—no response. I then called, but her voicemail was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. I also sent a text and got no reply. My wife tried calling as well, with no success, and eventually received a text from the owner saying:"I am very sorry I do not have access to the app. I am fully booked up to August. I have no way of managing or removing my listing as access was blocked by VRBO."This raises serious concerns:If the owner has been blocked from accessing the platform, why is this property still listed and bookable on VRBO?Why is VRBO charging for a rental that should not have been available in the first place?If what the owner is saying is untrue, that’s also deeply concerning.Either way, this is unacceptable. We expected a reliable listing and clear communication but received neither. I strongly urge others to verify listings with VRBO directly before booking.At minimum, VRBO needs to investigate this listing and ensure other travelers don’t run into the same issue.We got our money back, but we had to speak to 3 people from VRBO to get quality customer services. This ruined our planned vacation.

Wonderful Getaway

I really enjoyed my stay at Sonia's country cottage. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities of home you could imagine. Sonia was warm, welcoming and gracious - going out of her way to ensure that I had everything I needed to be comfortable. The hospitality was outstanding and I truly felt at home here. What really stands out is the amazing property though! The pool area is wonderfully relaxing, and the pool slide is so much fun! I also enjoyed the hot tub and private patio area, including a fire pit which was already pre-stocked with wood and lighter fluid. I couldn't have had a more relaxing stay - thank you Sonia, and I hope to stay with you again soon :)

Our Stay in Kempton

We were impressed with the quality of the finished basement! It had quality craftsmanship and decor. We were also impressed by the attention to detail that the host displayed. The kitchen and bath were well-stocked. The place was comfortable and lovely and our host was attentive to make sure we had what we needed.
