“Excellent country hotel, not too far from Windermere. Seems to be a dog and dogowners haven! I really liked the presence of the cute dogs. Surroundings very lovely. Please be aware that there are no restaurants in the vicinty and hotel has limited capacity in theirs. After a full day on the lake we came back to the hotel and no dinner😡”

“The property photos must have been taken a long time ago and are misleading, particularly the living sreas, which are dark and in need of an upgrade.
Despite earlier negative reviews, the bathroom and showers and hot water were fine.
Host did not respond to emails seeking reassurance that issues raised in other reviews had been addressed.”
