“Very disappointing. Several things are wrong with this so-called boutique hotel and spa. The offer room with fireplaces – which are an extra charge, of course. No firewood was provided. When we asked, they said they would not have firewood for another two weeks; then they changed the story to a 20 Euro charge for wood; then they showed us how to turn up the wall thermostat (!) “We thought we’d booked a hotel in the city centre. This felt like the middle of nowhere, VERY difficult to find- even with a GPS. No restaurants nearby. The room had a funny smell and the curtains were so thin that the lamppost directly outside was like a floodlight. Bedside lamps not working, breakfast: YUCK. The lady in reception was very nice”
