“A good hotel with modern and spacious rooms and good wifi. The breakfast was not super but anyway quite good. The only thing I didn´t like was the fittnes room- poor!”

“This was my halfway-ish stop on a trip from St. Louis, MO to Mayo. I needed a comfortable room for one night that wouldn’t break my budget, and this hotel delivered. The room was clean and comfortable, and the free hot breakfast was great! Staff were all pleasant, helpful, and busy—everywhere I looked, folks were cleaning up and making sure everything was in tip top shape. “Everything electronic, except for the refrigerator was unplugged. The bedside lamp was broken. There was soap residue on the shower drain. There was no type of soap products in the bathroom or shower. The mirror was covered with hand prints. Had to have maintenance to turn the heat on.I spent the night there simply because I had driven 600 miles. I would not stayed there if my wife was with me. At least I didn’t see anything crawling. Check in and out process is atrocious.”

“This was a very old hotel. The flooring in the room had many gaps and was peeling from the bottom. The bathroom sink was very small, and did not have a stopper. The small refrigerator was quite noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean. I would only recommend this for the budget traveler.”

“The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were impressed. It is a little Out of town so you cannot walk to shops or restaurants but it is only a 5 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Nauvoo.”

“The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!”
