This riverfront property was a wonderful retreat. A lot of thought went into the layout, from the fire pit to the Jacuzzi and grill, giving it a cozy, at-home feel. The general store and local restaurants are just a short drive away, making it easy to grab anything you need or enjoy a meal out. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay!

We are so happy we found this gem of a rental in Kernville on the river, it was worth every dollar! The view of the river from the windows and the outdoor area were absolutely stunning! The cleanliness and decor made it very comfortable. We will definitely rent here again.

What a beautiful spot on the river to relax with family.... The place was so cute and comfortable and had everything we might need - even towels to use by the water! It's close to town on a very sweet street - great for morning walks. They made everything super easy, start to finish. I have already recommended to friends and family!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Lindsey’s. The apartment was amazing more like a house with amazing views. The house itself was perfect. We absolutely loved the spa right on the water. We met George the neighbor he took us fishing and dropped us off so we could float the river. Caught lots of fish and can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This was a beautiful property, and extremely comfortable place to stay. The outdoor amenities were fantastic! There was a small issue with the BBQ, but I made a call to the contact that was provided, and I was met within 5 minutes by George who was the most friendly and accommodating gentleman, who resolved my issue so I could make our Steaks. And he brought me a fishing pole, and gear so I could try my hand at fishing! Simply put, a wonderful stay, that we will return to. Dave and Janet

We LOVED this property!!—The 4 level outdoor space right on the river with seating at each level.—The view and sound of the river with rafts and kayaks going by, as well as the woods and mountain across the river—The indoor space is attractive, comfortable, and very clean with much attention to detail.—The small kitchen area had all we needed but we didn't actually do much “cooking”.Communication was prompt and excellent. We look forward to returning soon.

This home was an absolute delight to stay in. It spotless, spacious, and instantly welcoming. The cozy couches made family movie nights comfortable, and the soothing sound of the river created a peaceful atmosphere you could enjoy from the living room or even while drifting off to sleep. You can walk right down the steps to the river, which makes it easy to sit by the water or even take a refreshing dip. The riverside balcony was another standout feature, offering a relaxing view made even better by the hammock that invited you to unwind and soak in the scenery. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive whenever I reached out, which made the stay even smoother. With its calming environment, thoughtful touches, and convenient proximity to restaurants and shops, this home is a wonderful choice for anyone looking to relax and spend quality time with their family. I truly hope to return soon.

This property is absolutely beautiful and well located. You can hear the river from every room with the windows open. The views from the porch were stunning. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we could need for our stay. The kitchenette has equipment for small meals and such. There is a small oven but we didn't have a need to use it. The host was very thoughtful with snacks and drinks upon our arrival and was very quick to respond to any questions or needs we had while we were there. We would definitely rent again!

Our stay was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt peaceful, intimate, and incredibly romantic. This the kind of place that makes couples slow down, reconnect, and fully enjoy being together. The views are absolutely unbeatable, especially at sunrise and sunset, and there were moments where the entire experience felt almost spiritual. The decor throughout the space was beautiful and thoughtfully curated. We especially loved the artwork — the wall paintings and added so much character, and every detail felt intentional and inviting. The hot tub was another highlight and made the evenings even more relaxing after exploring during the day. We also loved how convenient the location was; we made several easy trips into town within about 15-20 minutes while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful retreat. What stood out most was how difficult it was to leave. This place created so many special memories for us, and it truly felt like somewhere we could completely disconnect from stress and just enjoy each other and the surroundings. We’re already hoping to come back soon.

What a dream! This gorgeous rental is the bottom floor of a multi-level house that's right on the mighty Kern River, which is visible (and audible) from every room except one of the bedrooms. A few friends and I stayed for my birthday weekend and found the unit clean, the towels numerous and the beds comfortable. But the best part was by far the 4-level outdoor space, which had everything you need to lounge, eat with a view, hammock, start a fire pit and fish/float in the eddies right outside. I've only ever camped on the Kern before so being in a jacuzzi with a view of the river and mountains was beyond bliss (even if you could hear the late-night parties happening downriver). One note: If you are planning to cook for 4 people for every meal, bring a large pot or pan as the kitchen is stocked with a basic medium cookware set.
