Unwind in Duquette at this superb cabin. This tranquil retreat features 1 bedroom with a queen bed, a cozy living room with a futon, and a bathroom with a shower. Perfect for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We think our place will help you experience everything Duquette has to offer.

Call this little cottage home while you 'do the northland'. Clean, cute cottage sleeps 4, with a fully stocked kitchen. Located on the popular scenic byway (hwy 23) to Duluth and just minutes to the vast trail system of the Nemadji State Forest, no need to trailer your atv or side by side! Just a short drive to the many lakes of the area. The cottage is within walking distance from the the Duquette General Store, where you can enjoy there in-house smoked ribs, and get supplies for your stay. Take the scenic route on your bike to Duluth for a day, or hit the trails, and come home to a comfortable cottage! Or visit Moose Lake, where you can try a craft beer at the Moose Lake Brewing Company, do some shopping, get a great cup of Joe at Joe Jitters Coffee House or dine at one of the restaurants in town. Not to mention the agate hunting! Why stay at a hotel when you can have your private cottage to call home while you are exploring the many adventures this area has to offer!? The cottage grounds have a fire pit, and outdoor grill available, with plenty of room for tenting. Hope to see you soon on your next getaway to the Northland!
Please note! This cottage is rustic, it has a clean indoor bathroom plus shower in a separate building on the property. The property is professionally cleaned and restocked with fresh linens and towels between each stay.

We had a nice time and the general store came in real handy. Missed not having cell service but i survived lol. Had many fires in the firepit and the grill cooks great. The only thing i longed for was a hot shower but it's not cold either.

Small quaint cabin if you're looking for a quiet weekend in the woods. No cell service so if you want to be where no one can reach ya this is the place. We played cards and games all weekend. Couldnt get the DVD player to work but other than that enjoyable quiet weekend.

Peaceful and comfortable.

I was up there for a photo trip and found this location was centrally located for many great photo spots in the MN and WI area. The property is actually nicer than the photos show especially the exterior photos. The Interior photos are accurate. It’s a cozy place as described, the deck with a small table is a great addition and was perfect. Having a fire pit was perfect as well and was great for evening comfort and entertainment. It’s a great place to “unplug”. I missed the part in their description (all my bad) that the bathroom is in a separate building. I probably would not have chosen this cabin had I seen it. BUT… The reality is it was no big deal at all. It’s big, clean, comfortable and well decorated. I would definately go back.

ATV riding weekend

This was the eighth consecutive year I’ve rented this cabin. Great location for riding in Nemaji, delicious ribs from the general store, the perfect cabin for a weekend of fun!

Great weekend getaway

This was a good stay, I would love to return as it was a great location for ATV trail access, and a cozy place to come back to for the night. I would recommend a good deep cleaning in this cabin, as there is a cleaning fee within the rate but many dead bugs found in areas of the cabin, and what looked to be mold growing between a couple of the windows. Also the sheets looked like they had not been changed from previous visitors but we brought blankets to throw on over so not a big deal. However the bathroom/shower house was clean and very comfortable to use. Overall we were satisfied with our stay, just wanted to throw in suggestions for future visits!

Perfect place in a convenient location

We arrived in the evening and had a couple questions about the place. Katie was quick to call and discuss things. The cabin itself is cozy and had plenty of fans and AC to keep us cool after long days of adventuring. Neighbors were quiet which was nice. We had everything we needed. Would recommend!

Its a nice little place to stay for a few nights and go to Duluth. Definitely cheaper and nicer than a hotel. The general store down the road really does have anything u need and good coffee.

Great little cabin

Inside of the cabin was great. The living room area is larger than it looks in the pictures. The dogs loved having room to run around and we didn’t run into any while there (preferable). Bathroom could use some work, but it’s functional and did everything we needed.

Great getaway in the woods

This little house in the woods had so much rustic charm and character. It had everything we needed and then some. Some of the pictures are out dated, as there is now a deck on the front of the property, and we never needed to use the outhouse. Owners were prompt with response, and were very accommodating to our needs. Would 200% stay here again!

Cozy, comfortable cabin.

The location is great for us visiting relatives at a nearby campground. I am kind of scared to use the bathroom in the dark by myself. That and the front blinds and screen door in disrepair are really the only downsides. They have literally everything you might need.
