Levande vatten !!! En spektakulär Hill Country Family Retreat med integritet vid vattnet

  • Detta är ett nyligen renoverat, 1800sq ft hem beläget på vackra Turtle Creek utanför Kerrville, Texas. Det har en fantastisk utsikt och en stor täckt veranda med utsikt över vattnet. Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng, platt-TV och en jacuzzi i badrummet. Sovrum nummer 2 har en dubbelsäng och sovrum nummer 3 har två tvillingar med platt-TV med DVD-spelare. Det finns en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i ett separat tvättstuga. Köket har konventionella och mikrovågsugnar. Keurig kaffebryggare, mixer, mixer, crockpot, etc. Det finns en täckt grillplats med en kolgrup och picknickbord. Gratis wifi. Det finns två paddelbrädor, en kajak och flera rör som kommer med den här egenskapen och ett fantastiskt vattenflöde för alla åldrar.

Peaceful getaway

This property checks all the boxes for everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. Home and grounds are immaculate. Calm, quiet and serene and the added bonus of random wildlife makes being in or outside in the rocking chairs awesome.

Easy Family Getaway

Very easy family getaway, the kids loved the fishing. Used string cheese and caught a little perch every 5 minutes or so. Water was a little low but still very enjoyable!

Amazing Property

We throughly enjoyed our time at this property! It was a wonderful experience. The water was so clear. Fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding was great. We were so thankful for all of the amenities the property had. Watching the deer on a daily and nightly basis just out the front door was neat for the whole family. The kids are already talking about going back again!

BFF’s girls trip

What a gem! Green everywhere. Serenity with nature watching the birds and squirrels from the porch. The water is crystal clear. The little fish swam around us peacefully. The house was clean and comfortable. So many good amenities. Spacious and several sitting areas. We felt rejuvenated for sure over the weekend.

Perfect for Young Children

This property was perfect for children ages 3 and 9. The swimming dock in the middle of the creek is ideal for that age. Fishing was fun for that age as most of the fish were small. Catch and release worked well. Serious fishermen will want to be on deeper water. Great lawn leading down to a nice creekside patio. The house was cozy and comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Perfect weekend on the river

We arrived to this sweet, quaint river house and were immediately greeted by hummingbirds and deer. It could not have been more perfect. The cliffs overlooking the water are beautiful and the entire property is extremely well-kept and clean. My family enjoyed catch and release fishing off the dock, swimming in the crystal clear water, and spending time together in the peacefulness of this sweet home. The host was super friendly with many suggestions. The home itself was clean and had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable! This home had a very comforting and welcoming feel. We will absolutely be back to recharge when we visit TX again.

Birthday Fun for the Daughters

Time with family is so important so I offered my daughter and daughter-in-law a retreat to the hill country as a birthday getaway. Lori was an exceptional host by making sure we had great water to play in and a welcoming gift inside a lovely clean home on the creek! There were paddle boards and a kayak with oars at the ready for us to enjoy the water activities. My daughter-in-law tried out the paddle board and learned something new. My daughter decided the kayak was more her style and enjoyed doing that and they spent some fun time together on the creek. There was everything we needed and especially having a wall of windows to view the creek, cypress trees, hummingbirds, and deer was sooooo relaxing. That is what I had hoped for as these young women are mothers with children and work responsibilities and husbands and all the stress that can come with those roles in life! We got up ate breakfast there at the house but enjoyed a dinner in Kerrville at Billy Gene's. I spent some money at James Avery Silversmith because there was a terrific sale going on there! The best part of our stay was the creek activities, watching the hummingbirds, the comfortable home environment, and the many deer that stood in the front yard and ran through the backyard. Just being outside of the city environment was a great recharge for us. We even talked about returning in a cooler time to enjoy what Cypress Flats had to offer. Lori Brown took just the most thoughtful care as our host.

Fantastic property! Beautiful, peaceful TX Hill Country surroundings - great to enjoy from the awesome porch. Home very nicely appointed and updated. Lori is a great host. Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed this property. We will be back, for sure!

Medina River Retreat

This property was perfect for our family. The owners have cleared the riverbed in front of their property of vegetation and provide a wonderful floating platform with a ladder attached. Our 5 and 6 year old grandkids had a ball jumping off into the river. There are plenty of river toys provided including kayaks and paddles and swim noodles. There are even fishing poles. The owners have gone to great lengths to make your stay comfortable in every way.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

Beautiful surroundings! Crystal clear water with easy access. We spent time sitting on the porch and watching the humming birds, cardinals and squirrels. Totally private and peaceful. The house has everything you could need . Bring food and drink and you will never have to leave the property. The grandsons loved having their own bedrooms. They also loved the dependable wifi. This was our second stay at Tortuga Frio and it has become our favorite place for fun and relaxation.

Highly recommend

Our family of two adults and four kids (ages three to eight) had a fantastic time. The house was very clean and well stocked. The view was gorgeous and it was so nice being right on Turtle Creek. We all enjoyed swimming, floating, jumping off the floating dock, fishing and watching the turtle. Lori was a great host and good communicator. Would definitely stay here again.

Much Needed

This place is a gem. We had plans to explore the area but just ended up hanging out by the water, fishing, swimming and playing with kayaks and paddle boards all day. One of the most relaxing trips we've had. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely Amazing

This was a perfect mini vacation for my family. Beautiful rental all the way around. House was very clean and nicely decorated. Turtle Creek was crystal clear with huge rock bluffs. If you are wanting to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, this is the place. My 8 yr old son had the best time fishing. The yard was perfectly manicured all the way down to the creek. Huge trees shaded the yard. The porch was great to sit and relax and watch the birds come to the feeders. The view of the creek from the porch was beautiful as well. We were definitely not disappointed and would recommend this rental to anyone that is looking to book a place with live water.

This is a peaceful spot tucked away on a beautiful clear creek to relax, swim, fish and explore the hill country. Cozy comfortable house with everything you need for your stay including paddle boards/floats/fishing poles to enjoy the water
