Nestled along Bonefish Bay, Open Water Paradise distinguishes itself from other residences in Key Colony Beach by its unique location—away from the typical canal settings. Enjoy expansive open water views from both the front and rear of this exceptional home.

This piece of paradise is located just a short drive into Key Colony Beach and perfectly embodies the relaxing and true Keys ambience you come here for. Picture yourself enjoying sea breezes from your private porch right on Bonefish Bay. Enjoy a frozen margarita and hum along to your favorite music as you experience leisure and luxury available only in this peace of paradise.

Indulge in the pleasure of swimming and fishing directly from your private dock! The property includes a boat dock designed for vessels up to 30 feet. In minutes you can be in the Ocean or Gulf fishing/snorkeling on the Ocean side reefs or crossing the Vaca Cut for a Gulf side excursion.

You don't need to be an experienced angler to catch fish of all kinds just off your private dock. You may even see a Manatee or a family of Dolphins exploring the Bay.

Note: If you plan to bring a boat, kindly inform us in advance. Please note that the availability of a boat lift may vary at the time of your booking.

Step into luxury with our freshly remodeled Half Duplex featuring a seamless walk-thru layout! We're proud owners of the entire duplex, and you have the option to rent both units for an unforgettable experience. Spread the word to your loved ones, envision a getaway where you stay side by side. (Note: This listing is for one side of the duplex).

Our Living Area of the Home features ample and comfortable seating centered around a flat screen television with wi-fi service for streaming your favorite shows. The sliding glass doors open onto your gated back yard, the perfect place to enjoy early morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

Cook up your catch of the day in the fully equipped kitchen featuring full sized appliances, pots, pans, and dishes. Or, if you prefer you can grill on our gas grill provided (please be courteous of the next guest and maintain the integrity of the grill).

The Master Bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-Sized bed with a flat screen tv and features a full Master Bathroom. You will also find a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience!

The Guest Bedroom is appointed with a trundle bed including 2 twins and a full-size bed and a flat screen television. The Guest Bathroom is located directly adjacent to the Guest Bedroom with a walk-through floor plan. All the towels and linens you need for your stay are provided.

Our home is a short stroll from Sparky’s Landing Bar, Tarpon's Creek, and local favorites, offering waterfront dining with fresh, local ingredients. Enjoy live music as the day winds down. Sunset Beach, known for stunning Florida Keys sunsets, is also a brief walk away. Key Colony Inn, Cabana Breezes, walking trails, and bike paths are all within blocks. Boat rental and snorkeling trips are nearby, and we provide kayaks and bicycles for your personal use (at your own risk).

Ralph was an amazing host and ensured we had the best stay possible. He went out of his way to provide us with tips on things to do and was very responsive in general. The duplex itself is an ideal spot for those with a boat, right on the water with a dock in the backyard. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the keys!

Great Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Key Colony Beach and at Ralph’s place. The location was great, we enjoyed having our boat right out back and our puppy truly enjoyed the yard. The house felt roomy and comfortable. It was nice to have Cabana Club access too. Communications were great overall. We would definitely stay here again!

Paradise on the bay

This duplex was the perfect location as our base camp for exploring the keys. It's located on a bay instead of the narrow canal views that many homes in the area have. Sunrise is amazing from the covered back porch or on the dock. We saw dolphins and manatees from the dock as well. The beds were comfortable and having two full bathrooms was perfect. We also enjoyed using the fishing poles at the house to fish from the dock. The internet was quick, Netflix was on the TV to use, and a starter pack of paper goods was provided. There are multiple restaurants in walking distance, or use the two bikes at the house. We'll definitely be back!!

Relaxing & Nice but Lacking

We visit Key Colony often and were super excited to find this home with great amenities such as the small fenced in yard for our pups and access to the Cabana Club. It was mostly a great experience but definitely some touches that need to be improved. For instance, the outdoor ice machine doesn’t work (the neighbors were planning on using and were disappointed). Only the TV in the living room worked, the one in the guest room had a poor quality, pixelated screen and we couldn’t get the one in the master bedroom to work at all. It wasn’t even plugged in when we arrived, when I did plug it in, it seemed to cause some other electrical issues. It was a bit taxing to have to remember a 10 digit code for entry into the home all the time, would be nice to have a shorter code. Shower in master doesn’t have curtain so there’s a fair amount of water that splashes out into the small bathroom. The toaster took a good 10 minutes to lightly toast bread. We couldn’t use the oven as it seemed turning it on caused the fire alarm to chirp or go off even before the oven was up to temperature. Walls are rather think between the duplexes so we had the joy of hearing our neighbors movies every night til around midnight. Not sure if it was thin walls or their TV up loud or a combo but just something to be aware of. The vacuum cleaner had zero suction, even after cleaning out the clumps of fur and what looked like leaves from the backyard we still weren’t able to use it to clean the property.

Perfect vacation home!

Everything about this home was perfect! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and being right on the water made for wonderful mornings in the sun, sipping coffee and relaxing. There are fishing poles to use and my son and husband used them for hours (frozen shrimp did the trick to catch a variety of things). The home was very quiet-never heard our neighbors. The owner responded very quickly to any questions I had. Being able to use the Cabana Club was a bonus and we spent a day there lounging on the beach. I would rent this again if ever in the area.

It Doesn't Get Better Than This!

This is our second time to stay in Key Colony, and the first time in this property. We loved how easy it was to zip in and out of the neighborhood from this location. We had everything we needed indoors and out. Could be the best vrbo bed we've slept on, and we've slept on a lot of them! We were worried at first that noise from the Causeway would be an issue. It wasn't - didn't hear it at all from either the inside of the house or the back yard. You can't beat starting you day off watching the sunrise from the back porch. Magical!

Off the main drag, Very quiet neighborhood. Good space inside in terms of closets, etc. Kitchen could use cooking utensils. Also, would have liked toilet paper, paper towels and trash liners.

Clean & a perfect location

This property was adorable, everything as stated online was accurate. The 2 bathrooms were so modern and bright. The place was immaculate, comfortable and well stocked for all your needs. The ice machine was a huge bonus as you need plenty of ice for daily fishing excursions. I would highly recommend this property and most definitely consider it again for next year if we decide to go back to Marathon.

Perfect location.

This rental was perfect. The location was great. It was close to all the good restaurants. It was also down the road from a boat rental and bait shop, making it so easy to rent a boat conveniently and fish. It was so nice to have the dock in the back yard making it so nice to fish and see some manatees. The fence in the back yard made it super dog friendly. The property was so clean and maintained and bed was comfy. I would highly recommend this place to enjoy the keys.

Great home and location

The house and host are top notch. The wind and sea grass was the only slight issue. Kids caught plenty of fish from the dock. Neighbors are great as well. We will be back for sure. I almost don’t want to tell everyone how awesome this place is so it’s available to rent again in the future.

Lovely Location

My husband and I stayed here with friends for a week. This location had beautiful sunrises and is also a short bike ride from great restaurants. It was a very comfortable home and tastefully decorated. The owner was just a text/phone call away if we needed anything. We would love to stay here again!

Awesome getaway!

We really enjoyed our time in the Keys! Since this house is waterfront, the breezes are constant and great. Great view, awesome yard for our dog to run around in. We enjoyed sitting on the porch while he ran around. Really quiet on the inside, couldn’t hear the busy road at all! House has pretty much everything we needed. Owner was super responsive!

Exceeded all expectations! Location was great, house is awesome! So close to everything. One suggestion, avoid the Cabana Club. Staff is not customer service friendly, they are down right nasty. We will be back !
